Relic rank up keeps lowering prestige ???

So I know this has been talked about before but it seems to be more of an issue. I was at 28803. R3 spidey2099 relic and dropped to 28777. Saw on forums others have said issues with ranking spidey2099. But now I hear talk of ranking random 5* relics to just use up expiring stuff. This is beyond what a bug should be. Especially when cyber deals were real money for r3 materials which I bought. I also put in a ticket that was auto closed. Something needs to be done to fix this.
