Serpent Parrying Spiral mid special

I was just fighting serpent with Spiral, and hit a sp1. First few hits were fine then he just blocked and "parries" entire second half of the special. This shouldn't happen and how does this even work??!

    I came in to post this exact thing and it is the same against Hercules as well. I have tested other fights and it doesn’t happen. I have video but it doesn’t give me the option to post it here

    Had the same problem while testing her. The first few hits of her sp1 connected and then getting blocked.
