It is safer to just not try and punish his SP1 if you keep running into the issue.

Yeah that helps a bit, but if I have disorient up, if the parry fails and he heavies with his true sense still up it’s game over. This fight is way too luck based.

But at least that way you will be prepared for the heavy. So while there is still risk, you're better setup to respond.

Have you tried just going to sp3?

My problem is more so heimdals true sense after his sp1s, since you can’t dex while his true sense is up. But furrymoosen advice is helpful, just have to not have a disorient up when trying to parry him.

That's my main issue. Tough nodes and such big fine with but this AI in the fight is ridiculous. I've already completed all objectives but that doesn't change the fact that the AI is stupid.

Soc sup for mystic. Set up slow rune as permanent by a sp3 then spam any special. Start with blue mode so it will aligne correctly on pink mode when you get to 3 bars of power.

did you actually try this? All of the nodes with unstoppable are immune to ability accuracy modification.

Slow will let you hit unstoppable opponents as like they were never unstoppable, it works like grit. Heimdall triggere unstoppable but you can still hit and knock him down normally.

I’m struggling with the mercenary fight. Tried Gwenpool, bullseye and BWDO. Gwenpool seems to do no damage when I throw her sp2 or sp3. What could I be missing there?

Was the battery empty when you hit your SP2/3? That’s all I can think of.

Continue baiting the SP1 (you don't want to deal with his SP2) and then parry and attack. You want to hit him and get rid of the True Strike.

It can be frustrating for sure, but the fight itself ended up being pretty fun once I got the flow of it.

I switched tactics and took Hit Monkey. Even with my R3 6* it really wasn’t hard. I spent too much time trying to interrupt Heimdal’s heavy attack to disable the Brace when I was using Gwenpool, BWDO or Bullseye. With HM, I just dexed all the hits in his heavy attack, disregarded the disorient, and repeatedly baited his sp1 until I got to my sp3 and fired off my sp3. I think it took 7-8 sp3’s to take him down.

If anyone is still struggling with this fight like I was, try to keep the fight in the middle as much as you can or his half of the board. Avoid backing him or yourself up to the wall. I found he would unleash his heavy chain if either of us was against the wall. If you have enough room around you in the center of the fight screen, everything is easy to dex and avoid. Just my 2¢. I hope it’s clear and it helps someone else in this fight.

Yes I did. I got him to 54% with full health. However, the fight at that point was about 10 minutes. So I exited out and did Mojo. I don't know SS optimal rotation for damage. I can send a video to you if you'd like since all of my runs are done and I don't have to worry about time.
