Banquet rankings and rewards..

Was just wondering why the ones that placed in the top 2600 of the banquet rewards also didn't get the 1% rewards as well?? Is that a new change to rewards? Please don't roast me for asking, just thought I remembered it working different in the previous years.. thank you

It’s the same as every other ranked reward in the game. Ranked players are included in percent calculations but are ineligible for percent rewards. You haven’t been able to double-dip in banquet or gifting event previously to my knowledge.
