Deathless chase - am I misremembering this detail or did plans change?

Near the beginning of the deathless chase I seem to remember hearing something about a catch up mechanic that would be available for a limited time at the end of the chase (and no, I am not referring to the 5k unit deal thing in the store). Am I just misremembering? Or is this just simply no longer happening?

    They already mentioned this chase on the last livestream, either during the end of this year or early 2026 is when this catch up mechanic is happening.

    It is happening… but the Deathless Champions are still relatively new. Especially for those of us who have gotten the chase through the intended way, Thanos is right around the corner for us.

    For people who missed out on the initial chase, the “cheaper way” to catch up (or it may be a free way) will probably not happen for months or closer to a year.

    I'm wondering if they will introduce lower rarities of the deathless as well.
