This Saga feels....deflating

So this whole saga just feels like a cruel reminder to people that couldnt get the deathless champs (for whatever reason) that they arent able to do all of the new content fully. About 1/3 of my alliance werent able to get all the deathless champs due to real life commitments and in game problems (im looking at you AOA Abs Man). It feels wrong to have a whole saga based on these amazing gatekeeped champs that new players cant get and some veteran players have to pay THOUSANDS of units to get their hands on right after the biggest banquet event of the games history. Let me know your thoughts on this one guys.

What content is being locked the deathless champs?

I have no FOMO regarding deathless champions
Besides the deathless champions are not time limited
They are still there available for collection

It’s literally just one permanent content and 1 carina challenge.

You can still do the showcase and there will be more content released that doesn’t require you to have all deathless. The deathless is just a theme. If they decided to do a different saga that wasn’t catered to deathless, then the deathless only quest will still be up for players regardless.

Honestly, since the post is here, I feel the opposite — and I didn’t collect a single Deathless kit and have no particular interest in the storyline.

That’s the whole point: This is a game that features a lot of individual choice and presented options.

Very, very, very few people are going to have EVERY SINGLE THING this game offers — some of it will be as simple as “I don’t want to be in an alliance,” which meant, for example, you didn’t get any of the titles available during the Banquet.

Some of it can be skill-capped — maybe beating Superior Kang or clearing the Abyss or Necropolis isn’t possible on someone’s account, or they don’t have interest in Everest content.

Maybe Battlegrounds doesn’t interest someone.

My point being that if a person took the Deathless event seriously, put more than a year of collecting and hitting milestones and clearing content to pull five specific kits…man, good for them. Good for those people.

I say this from time to time because it’s the honest truth:

If a person wakes up each day and looks at someone else’s account and feels jealousy, you aren’t built for this game.

Because none of us are in the same place. We don’t have all the same kits. We don’t have the same resources. We don’t have the same gold, we don’t have the same amount of time, we don’t have the same amount of skill.

You gotta learn to focus on what you do well, what you want to accomplish in the game. Learn to be happy for yourself and congratulate other people, instead of feeling bad about what you don’t have

If you ignore 10+ times Kebem shouting, sending in-game emails, speaking in livestreams and countless content creators reminding you every single month that Deathless Chase is worth doing and how Deathless Thanos will be actual relevant but surprise, we got deathless Shehulk who's also busted.

It's entirely on you that you chose to ignore because you're busy which is totally fine, everyone's busy,

But you now can't just come randomly and complain, "wahh, everyone is doing Necro, it's unfair, it's wrong, wahhh."

I mean, this is what they've been building towards for the last year. As much as it sucks, why shouldn't there be a saga about them?

Yes, it sucks that some weren't able/didn't want to chase them. But after a year of building hype for them, it makes sense for them to do something.

And FWIW, there are still a bunch of good saga Champs included in the saga. It's not like if you don't have the Deathless Champs, you're screwed.
