The game experienced a brief connectivity issue this morning. The team promptly fixed the issue and things are back to normal, thank you to everyone who passed along reports!

Day 1 of Asking Kabam for a buff to the rewards of Paragauntlet.

I feel Paragauntlet, is extremely underwhelming now. For spending around 300 units worth of revives and a sh*t ton of energy refills. You get basically nothing. What, one t6 Basic, one t3 Alpha and 4000 or so 7 star shards and a 6 star nexus. In my opinion, i think the rewards can be changed. I feel that Paragauntlet definitely needs a slight buff and tweak to make it more, worthwhile for the grind. And while i do understand that there are many other quests handing out better rewards, i still enjoy the Paragauntlet. So, if we could get a slight buff or tweak to the rewards, i definitely think it could be more rewarding. Maybe instead of a normal 6* nexus, you could add in a 6* abyss selector? And maybe like 500 titan shards too, with the remaining rewards. Idk, just a suggestion.

Rewards are ok for the difficulty level. The issue is the difficulty level. Highest eq is thronebreaker. We should have a a paragon eq with rewards to match that level

How do you revive in that content ? Honestly perhaps poor champions choices. Yes the rewards aren’t great but the difficulty either… it’s just long and boring to complete the event quest a 100% before

Buff rewards? Nope, how about a new difficulty. Valiant Gauntlet, much better idea. You can use revives there too.

This is what the people need. Unfortunately, asking for Valiant stuff is frowned upon. I still do tb eq and paragauntlet because i think the rewards are decent for minimal effort. But i’d like something progression based for the actual progressions. Oh, and please stop it with the cav crystals for sq. Even if the paragon and valiant crystal are just disquised 4*, 5* crystals, there’s still a chance at something we can use besides iso.

What we need is valiant and paragon level EQ, for the difficulty level paragauntlet is fine, for now.

Slight boost to the paragauntlet with Valiant EQ added. There isn't much need to add two new difficulties, just need to make the gauntlet a bit more impactful for helping Paragons progress to Valiant.

I never did understand why new titles have always been introduced without older titles being fully fleshed out. Prior to Paragon coming out, there was a lot of push back that Thronebreaker had not even been fully completed, with even simple things like the daily objective crystals, lack of EQ etc… Then the same thing happened with Paragon. So, here we are with Valiant and in many ways we are back at the same place that they haven’t fully fleshed out the rewards/updates/enhancements for the new title, but yet we are on the cusp of a new iteration of a title.

This post is pointless because paragon gauntlet doesn’t need a buff, a entirely new level is more needed.

Luckily if i recall correctly, kabam crashed did say that a new reward level for valiants is one of his top priorities to address this year. So we’ll most likely see something. I just hope it’s the first half of this year and not the second half.

Ok. These threads really need to go away. How about we start a thread on how many days without a “Day 1” thread?

    Nah

At some point of playthrough you just completely stop playing. If you feel the reward is basically “meh” for your level of progression then I don’t know what you want. You want more rank up materials? Sure here you go…. Suddenly it’s not enough and want more? No.

Right message wrong messenger, paragauntlet has outdated rewards for valiants even if no revives are used, the time and (ingame) energy it takes to explore 100% eq and do the gauntlet you can just do a few matches of bgs and get better/ rewards. Kabam seems to always be behind on giving top level progression exclusive good rewards.

It’s not a reward problem you are pointing at it’s a structure problem.

Valiant has been forced to explore the THRONEBREAKER EQ, two progression tiers below their current level, because Kabam have allowed the end game progression tiers to be log jammed all together and have not revisited this topic since the creation of the Paragon Gauntlet. It should have been changed to completion ages ago for Valiants to unlock Paragon Gauntlet. Personally I don’t know why it’s locked behind the EQ at all, but if that’s the reality we have then Valiant unlock requirements shouldn’t be the same as another progression tier below their own.

What’s next are they going to make us explore TB, then clear the paragauntlet to unlock the Valiextreme Gauntlet while playing the game upside down? Its gonna get silly if they keep duct taping things on top here.

We do need Valiant EQ components added to the game but I hope they revisit previous designs to prevent goofiness
