AQ Map 8 path 6 question

zbot34zbot34 Member Posts: 472
I have been doing this path 6 in all 3 sections for AQ on map 8 now for 3 or 4 weeks. I cannot get through all 4 days without using 6 to sometimes all 15 available resources.

I use Herc, CapIW and Scorpion and pick the buff Broken Measures to help CapIW and Herc with power gain from their armor breaks.

I am curious if there may be a better team to use?

I am feeling input response for parry is not as good with the last 2 updates and I know when Map 8 was first introduced they were Six stars rank 5 defenders now they are 7 stars rank 3 so maybe my 6 stars just don't have enough juice anymore. Curious if anyone has faced this problem? I would like to be able to clear map 8 path 6 itemless as I was able to do that with Map 7 with ease after a few weeks but this map 8 is something else.

Any suggestions from the community would be helpful.

Thanks

I am backup in first section (usually help on path 3 though to get some feats for herc) but I run path 6 for both section 2 and 3.

I run Herc, scorpion and venom (the only 7*) as my team to get the synergy bonus mainly for scorpion. I don't use venom except for the nightcrawler and kitty fights.

I only use scorpion for sassy, dragon man and sorceress supreme.

I herc every other fight. Remember there is a tree guy that you can get free healing from if needed. Just take a smack from his sp1 (edit on the last bit of his sp1) while he has his furies. There's also free healing in section 3 with air walker shared fight.

    Not much else to it.

@naikavon thanks. I will look at that for sure. What buff do you use at the beginning of AQ? Or do you not pick a buff for your attack team?

@zbot34 I use hurtful measures for scorpion.

I think this is purely a preference thing. I generally like the +20% attack rating by applying three non damaging debuffs (hold heavy until stun almost wears off gets you 3 torment charges). And then just use sp1 to apply sting and taunt. Even with taunt, they do sometimes like to hold to sp3 (dragonman) but for the most part they play pretty well using that strategy.

I don't really know if it's the best buff to use cause i don't benefit from the taunt aspect of it, (but scorpion has his own taunt) but the extra damage is nice.
