As you know, there is a compatibility problem between technology and the mutant class. He can't benefit from the effects even though he should be superior. Prowler sentinel guardian peni parker red skull etc. Rupture should be given instead of plasma. Because there are those with energy resistance, havok and bishop ons etc. What do you think?

The class system isn't intended to make fights completely one-sided. It has to be more complex than "Tech beats Mutant"

A bunch of Tech champions already switch out Incinerate to Plasma, to get around Incinerate immunity for Iceman, Colossus, Apocalypse, Emma Frost, Kitty Pryde and Sunspot.

They can't be expected to easily defeat every Mutant, just because of class superiority. Otherwise you end up with situations where mutant defenders are pointless, if the attacker has Champion X...

Absolutely agree. It would really make any defender pointless if the only requirement to tilt the fight noticeably in your favor was class advantage. Sometimes class disadvantage doesn't hurt you as much as you'd think either. If anything, I'd argue that having champs with disadvantage that can actually counter or hinder the class with advantage brings a level of additionally complexity to the game that keeps us out of the button mash category and deeper into understanding the difference a good strategy makes.
