Old School Calendar was 7 days only, right?

I don't understand why the old school calendar was promoted in insta/Twitter and every where as a month long event but it was just a 7 day calendar. Why was it promoted to run from Jan 13 to Feb 13 where it already ended.

    I assume that meant you can start claiming it between those days but it still only lasts 7 days
