Unable to use some attackers in AW attack

I am not using my Count Nefaria on defence or in any other mode of the game and still I am unable to use him on AW attack for last 2 AWs. I even reported this over email but they didn't helped much and without clearing the issue it got closed. Please see into this Kabam and resolve it asap as my Nefaria is perfect counter to my AW attack path

You place defenders on 3 maps, one below and one over your current tier. My guess is he’s placed on one of those. Check all 3 aw defender maps, that should solve it.

Checked that as well. We play 2 BG wars and I am only in BG1 war for both attack and defence - same tier

There are 3 versions of the AW map. You might have more than one set of defenders placed.

Not battlegroups. When you go to the place defenders there are 3 versions of the map. (3 small boxes at center bottom)

The middle is the current map, and one up and one down. You need to select place defenders in the war room. Like Demonz Said, you can have 3 differens sets of defenders placed.
