Alliance Quest point bug?

Hello community.

Hope you Guys can help me shed some light on this.

Recently did alliance Quest, All groups did map6.

But theres a difference in points by a few million.

Reported it to kabam, but the reply i got was
"Points Are correct, its because there is only 9 People in battlegroup 3.
Even tho both bg1 and bg3 did map 6 100% and bg3 Even has the ekstra honor nodes.

Can anyone explain further, does it really matter if theres an extra person doing 0 kills or exploration?

    I checked this with our Senior Agent, and we have confirmed that some members in Battlegroup 1 earned more points than members in Battlegroup 3. One member in Battlegroup 1 was able to earn more than 9,000,000 points, while the highest points earned by a member in Battlegroup 3 was only almost 6,000,000 points. More points were also gained since Battlegroup 1 has 10 members while Battlegroup 3 has only nine members.

    As a reminder, the points in each Battlegroup will be based on the total points contributed by each member who joined in that specific Battlegroup.

    This is the reply from support, maybe i AM dumb, but that makes zero sense to me.
