Doubt about double track booster

How is the booster supposed to work?
I'm unlocking a new reward every day. No problem with that. I get a booster every 5 days approx but nothing happens... I have to pay to use them? I can't see where are them... and the locked days (the ones with the lock) just keep increasing....

The booster automatically unlocks additional days on the track. If you purchased the platinum track, you'll unlock two days each time you complete the booster. Those days unlock immediately and extend you into additional days down the platinum track.
The gold track is timed, and doesn't have any additional days on it, so the booster just unlocks those days, but nothing else happens. While you've unlocked additional days ahead, the rewards only release once day at a time. The booster is more of a catch-up and a grace period thing than it is a thing to get ahead.
The booster works exactly as it is intended, but if you're only getting the gold track then you won't actually notice a benefit from it unless you fall behind or miss objectives.

Thanks man, beautiful and generous explanation. Thanks for your time.

It's only useless if you hit every single objective every single day. When they launched the first double track this booster wasn't an option, so if you missed even a single day you would need to spend money to keep yourself from missing rewards. This gives flexibility for mistakes to be made or for life to get busy. While you may not personally benefit from it right now, it is far from useless.

These extend mission days for the Gold Track.

You can see that extra days are unlocked after the final milestone. If you miss a day, the number of extended days will decrease. If you miss more days than the available extended days, you will start missing out on rewards.

So, these boosts in the Gold Track give you extra days you can afford to miss.
