Disappointed in the game, as a returning player.
For a little backstory, started playing in 2017, and was on and off for a few years, and then ultimately decided to uninstall the game completely (around 2019-2020). I came back recently to see if the game was left off the same, or maybe even better, than what I left it as. When I came back, I was pretty thrilled to see it still kind of active, yet something felt off. I noticed BG’s were a thing, and Deathless. I noticed 7* champs were added, and I chat in global for a minute, just to find out people are saying the game is dying. Multiple large creators are now MIA or hardly ever upload anymore. The game is stale, and I wanted to figure out why, as a returning player. Well, first thing is that, events are now scarce, or not even worth it. Kabam has given up on any dolphin accounts or F2P players, so they can milk their whales a few more times before everyone realizes that the same cycle of release content for top players, to get them to spend more money on characters who are ultimately going to be replaced by 8* champions in the *somewhat near* future. As well as this, nobody at kabam seems to care at all about any possible returning player, as only the new players get the benefits of the new log in calender as well as buffed exploration rewards that I didn’t get because I decided to explore the paths *2 WEEKS* before they were buffed. I don’t know if I’m going to keep playing after this. No new years event, valentines event is said to be giving less units, but the whales are still going to get their crystals and “keep the game alive” so be happy I guess. **** the normal community.
