Spider Punk evade

I was fighting Spunk with Shang-Chi and while he had the slow debuff he kept evading me and placing his passive stun, would someone please explain what I’m missing here.

I don’t use spunk, but I think his stun can still be placed even with slow applied to him

He evades and then places stun, how can he stun if he wasn’t supposed to evade?

Yeah I guess it doesn't function like a basic evade because it's a counter-attack evade.
Does slow work on other counter attack evaders like BWDO and EB?

What are the nodes?

Slow does stop him as I do in all the time but slow is ability accuracy reduction so if the node makes him immune to ability reduction then slow doesn't work.

maybe it has something to do with the line “ this ability is always active”

I’m not too good with champion analysis, I just know they do things and that’s about it

Always active means no cooldown

Slow reduces aar. Did you fight spunk in enchanced ability accuracy or force of will node?
