Is Ultron Good?

I'm seeing a lot of folks upset that they didn't get Ultron from the love box.
Is he actually good, for like BG and end-game content?
Would people have R3'd or R4'd him if they got him?

    Ultron and Longshot were the only two I really wanted from the boxes. Longshot is one of the best BG nukes in most metas.
    I got stuck with gwenpool I actually wanna kill myself cause the other day I grinded for months to get a titan and ended up with BRB even though I bought the double track, but at the same time I laughed it off remembering that this was a game

    BRB is kinda having a comeback. He’s a pretty good Sentinel counter.

    I’m sure Kabam will soon release some content where Gwenpool is the best answer. That seems to be the way things work. I was watching a stream today where MSD said that Gwenpool’s sig should let her fully tank SP1 and SP2 from Ares, so she does have some niche uses.

    Also I got silvers stars on cgr from basic; Kabem trolled me on kull from a sneaky slow rollover from herc.the world is against me on this day. I am taking it like a man and after delaying the inviteable for 2 months, I'm starting act 8 today. By the end I'm on 8.2.4. This is the way of a true single coping man.

    Tried to post a link to the video, but needs mod approval. Check out Vega’s video on Ultron he uploaded this week. Ultron’s damage is pretty crazy and at high sig his energy resistance is a nice bit of utility.

    I don't follow Vega but I saw DLL use Ultron in a recent war video and he seemed very useful but also a little niche?

    RNG is standard; very few players get what they want or can compensate for it by sheer spending.

    Nahh he's mid, not good not bad,

    His auto evade thing ruins tempo of fight and lots of key moment things on attack and on defence is pure paper garbage with most basic ass specials that my dog can dex as well.

    His funny sig immunities saves him a lot.

    Thanks PT. Yeah, I never saw him as a good defender, just was wondering about him as an attacker.

    Seriously bro. I don't consider him mid but the auto evade thing is real. It is just purely annoying he can't block or party safely and he starts to evade miss special and stops evading and gets clipped. Like the million other champs with similar feature, he should not evade while blocking

    Ultron is actually pretty useful. Mystics feed him power, he’s immune to poison and bleed. Against non robot champs, once you throw an Sp2, you can gain some above average damage. Yes his auto evade can be frustrating, but you can watch his timer on it and actually learn to use it for you instead of against you.

    I’d say he was top 3 out of the box. Iceman, Ultron, and Longshot were my 3 most wanted. Would’ve liked she hulk bc my science roster is a bit lacking but I don’t think she would have covered much ground in short form content
