KingPin Question

I was doing the Thronebreaker quest this month where Dust is the boss. I usually use Ironheart or a good Incinerate champion against her. I had 100% health with KingPin (6* Max, 200 Sig), so I thought I would hopefully knock her down a bit before Ironheart. To my surprise KingPin destroyed dust despite the class relationship. My question is what in KingPins kit allowed him to do this? I have read both kits and can not find a reason for it, and there were no active synergies on him. Thanks

go into bgs, fight a r3 dust, try again, then cry

probably because of nodes, or it could just be a small health pool

It sounds like you just had a good run with Kingpin. Most champions can take her down without issues as long as you don’t get three stacks of dust on you. What might have helped you is that the node gave you unblockable so you didn’t have to worry about her, glancing you and accumulating dust to activate her sandstorm
