Deathless Thanos SP2 not counting as knockdown

So I was revisiting the paths in Crucible normal difficulty today, and used Deathless Thanos for both Gwenmaster and 7.3 Kang. Unfortunately for both Gwenmaster's Dr Doom phase and Kang's SP-related abilities, Thanos' SP2 does not count as a knockdown to complete the respective missions. (I suspect this is due to the "illusions" in the special not counting as the knockdown)
This is consistent across repeated SP2 activations, particularly making it impossible to complete Gwenmaster's Doom phase which could cause roadblocks for other people using Thanos.
