Renewing for 2nd month?

Overal reaction has been negative imo.

This should have been amazing buff for the sigil but so far it’s been meh.

This “update” doesn’t even see like a true update. With so many things in the game outdated like monthly eq,battlegrounds,aw and aq the Sigil also feels outdated…

Like a premium outdated content that they want us to pay $10.

Honestly thought we would hear more and atleast by 2nd month we will hear something about it.

Just got an email saying they will auto renew..

But man..I’m just saving for titan crystal and sure it helps arena but this doesn’t even feel like a buff at this point.

I really hope kabam doesn’t drag this for the 3rd month.

I think we will see huge drop off with upcoming 2nd month of the sigil.

Will you be renewing?
As someone who spends and grind arena i will sadly be renewing but i feel that they can do so much more for the playerbase with the sigil..

I will not. I only got it this month to help my grind for units (if needed) in arena for Epoch. But nothing is screaming "keep me. I'm amazing", even post 'buff'. But I may not be there target audience.

I think I will renew, but I don’t see myself renewing for month three.

I’ve been playing this game less and less recently (which isn’t a bad thing as sometimes I would log 4+ hours in a day) and finally becoming a higher level valiant has me realizing that the game is really outdated for high level players.

The sigil credits feel sparse, the trade in options are sometimes absurd (although the lower trading prices could be good if they’re reasonable), and I don’t play enough arena to justify the express. I was never really tempted to purchase sigil before, but it feels like they’ve completely devalued the sigil credits while making it almost stupid to purchase sigil witch (by removing the specific tokens for the 7* purchase).

And as always… the pricing and rewards feel super outdated despite just releasing. The time it takes to build up the sigil credits does not really reflect the cost of a lot of these items. Furthermore, there’s basically no health benefits because you have to use those monthly lump sum credits for potions and revives instead of with gold and trade ins. So now it’s, either I purchase a revive every week and delay my time to a 7* crystal for a few months or I hold and get the fun rewards faster. It doesn’t look as appealing as old sigil and I’m starting to feel like old sigil was actually a lot better developed in terms of their currencies.

I bought it mainly for a handful of extras to do first epoch path....and after getting it I immediately realized it was not worth $5 a month let alone 10....def not renewing

I'm very close to getting the 7* nexus with my previously purchased sigil credits, so I'll be getting 2 more months to purchase that, then burn the rest of the sigil credits on potions and revives, and never purchase again lol

Reasons covered elsewhere, but definite no. Value has declined with the changes, and it’s one more MCoC tendril I can remove from my time and money.

I was a Sigil buyer for a while, the 10 bucks wasn't a big impact for me but...there is something to be said about value, which isn't there, the trade in values for end game players are so minimal that its pretty much not even close to helping in any generic way. I can see Cav and TBs being interested though.

In the end, nope, I tried the new format and it's not engaging enough and the extra boost they are providing weekly is just really a disrespectful shot at trying to get people in, don't get me wrong some people will do it but I'm not one of those people, and by the time we roll around to mid year, we'll see those people complaining because... -plus is still a negative.

I bought it for exchanging 6* sig stones to 7* sig stones, but I thought it was possible to get new sig stones every week, and not every14 days. The rest of the subscription is pretty much meh…

    Zero chance

Guess I am the outlier here.

The main benefit is arena express. It’s 90% of the sigil value. Without it, i doubt I would buy it. However, arena unit grinding is the hallmark of my mobile gaming - as it’s the decompressing after the day is done. Achieve simple goals by beating up digital pixels on a regular schedule.

The initial upgrade was so bad that I was considering not renewing even with the few extra units. However, Kabam in this instance restored the boosts for free and added a weekly sigil potion which is far easier to obtain than the trade ins. These were in response to valid criticisms and I think they made it right.

Is it a blockbuster must have deal? No. But if you grind units and throwing $10 a month for units, inventory cap, and a few other things doesn’t break the bank, I think it’s worth it.

Completely agree. The trade in store is nice but waiting 27 days is naff. Haven’t even looked at the sigil stuff.

The only reason is for the express mode. I can do the 6* basic in 50 minutes now with that and an attack boost. Managed 12k units since Jan and I would not be anywhere near that without express to make it bearable. An hour arena a day and rinsing the units.

Good point. This is something I highlighted elsewhere: the timer refresh. Why some things are once a month and others aren’t seems to be in contradiction to how the game is played.

Nope. I hadn’t renewed the sigil since February 2022, just checked it.

Since they also implemented arena express mode behind a pay wall, I won’t renew forever. It just feels so wrong and greedy on so many levels

If you don’t play arena, there is zero reason to subscribe.

I believe they mentioned somewhere about admitting it’s not the value they anticipated and were to look at tweaking it…

I’d like to see some expansions of the automatic 30% boost to all content except BGs. Currently it applies to just act 1-6. If those are explored there’s no value to it.

A way to earn extra sigil credits in content monthly

A better offering of exchanges in the store

A way to at least sell for gold the items that expire that you currently can’t because they are set as “high value item”.

Take the cool down timers off

Bring back the old items you could purchase for gold

Bring back the sigil health potions you could trade in for lower health potions.

Put ascension dust for sale in it.

Maybe offer a potion or boost that allows you to turn off 1 node of your choice in a quest??? Just a thought.
