R3 Prioritization

I’ve currently got 11 R3 champs, and have resources to take up 2 more. My priorities are mostly end game material, and battlegrounds (I guess, prefer attack options though for their use elsewhere in the game) - I haven’t done Epoch yet (I dread it but know I’ll eventually get around to it), I’ve completed only the one path in Necropolis last year (really don’t want to complete the exploration of it), and I’m finished with 9.1.

My current R3 champs are:
Science - Silk, Photon, Ham
Skill - Chee’ilth
Mutant - Domino, Onslaught
Tech - IronMan
Cosmic - Venom, Medusa
Mystic - America Chavez, Juggs

Here are my options:







Who would you prioritize and take up to R3 - particularly to help most in Epoch, and likely future challenging content?

I think they’re both at the top of my list, especially Sinister. Just wish I had them both duped first and it’d be a no brainer (again especially Sinister).

The deathless run in Necro is the easiest completion option, IMO. Run that and get your DT dupe. R3 all day.

It’s a good idea. I can then use all the deathless sig stones in my stash on him too. I forgot I have a cosmic R3 gem I can use on him (so I actually can take 3 champs to R3). Good call @Herbal_Taxman

Would you R3 DThanos before the Necro run? Did you find him much use on your run unduped?

If you’re going to r3 eventually, might as well do it before the run. Djen and DGuilly probably did most of the work for me but everyone contributed. DKG probably got the least amount of time. Just didn’t need what he does very much, especially when DT brings the armor shatter.

Honestly I’m considering him. I think you’re serious. Eventually he will get it. I love using him. So easy to use with solid utility, and great against annoying cosmics.

I also have Kushala but she’s at R1 and not posted. She’s unduped though and I won’t take her up until I get her awakened.

I'm dead serious. No regrets with this guy. He is my most used mystic, even more than chavez. I'm considering to r4 him as well in case I get a mystic r4 gem.


Everyone knows he is good but most players are hesitant to r3 him. Just like luke Cage.

Also kushala is awesome. I recently ranked my 6* and she is extremely versatile, which is rare for mystics as most are niche, buff control champs. Recently I've seen few threads slandering kush and how she is not as good as chavez and juggs, which I disagree. She is as good as both of them imo. And I'll r3 her unduped her sig ability is mainly useful against skill champs right?

It won’t take much for me to be convinced to take him up. I know he’s awesome for Necro boss due to reverse control immunity. Have you done Epoch? Where else have you used him most?

I’ve only used my 6* Kushala but it’s been awhile since I really don’t use 6* champs anymore. I thought she relied on nearly max sig for best results overall.

I used him a lot in my 10 year challenge run.

I also use him a lot for war, haven't tried him much on new map but in old one he is great for serpent on boss island - aspect of evolution. Gorr on power efficiency mini boss. I also used him to solo Serpent boss in AW multiple times. In new map he is pretty useful on one of the mini bosses - footlose + stun immune + rich get richer.

On bgs He is a goat in power shield and safeguard meta. Apart from that, I mainly use him to take down serpents even faster than chavez and rintrah. He has a hidden ability most people don't know. His heavies nullify power gain buffs. He can take out most of the cosmics in bgs.

I did only one path in epoch, and he isn't ideal for epoch I think.

More Wiccan than Chavez? That’s a bold statement. I’ll have to work more with him.

r3 GWENPOOL does not disappoint. soloed 1* r1 vision before she died. she is actually OP(all in all, Kush Is amazing for raids, and every single piece of content out there, though she wants the dupe to maintain her blessing(when I got Paragon, I got her out of the 7* nexus holiday gift, Duped her my next 7* crystal) I felt like I should have chosen bullseye on the nexus, but now loving the dupe, no regrets.)

her sig gives her passive incinerates and sole barbs depending on the amount of blessing stacked. it also increases the amount of time her blessing are paused.

Yeah. More mystic utility than chavez for day to day gameplay.
Chavez is better for bgs tho.

Yeah I’m loving the r2, was considering the potential r3, but pulled shathra from EOP completion, so have to decide between them.
