Struggling with which team to use for the Mutant/Mystic Cassie path

I’ve knocked out 5 of 6 Epoch paths, with my final one being the Cassie Mutant/Mystic path.

I’m struggling with which champs to bring. The one definite is my 7* Duped Juggs, who I’ll be using for Ares and probably Toad and Prowler. I’m debating my other two champs. My original plan was Domino and Kushala, both of which are 7* awakened and high sig. However, I’m now debating dropping Kushala for either Onslaught or DPX. I know Onslaught is great for a number of the fights on the path, but in all honesty I’m not very good at Onslaught. I also only have a 6* R5A max sig Onslaught. The fights I’m most concerned about are Cassie, Heimdall, and Prowler - particularly with the power drain node.

Any advice? Is Onslaught so good for some of these fights that I should bring him even though I stink with him? Who were your MVPs for the path?

Hmmm…that’s an interesting thought. I’m probably better at Prof X than Onslaught, so that could be a good possible substitution.

Bro I'm currently using a sig200 asd onslaught(r4),r2 sinister,and r2 sig 80 kush, going going good, idk how u feel though, cause substituting sinister for jugs would be the play 4 u imo

Good luck. That's the last path I have, but I'm waiting to see if the revive comp for Ares persistent bug is dropping soon. Because I don't want those revives to go to waste.

I would probably go with PX, Onslaught and Juggs. PX for Cassie and Prowler, Onslaught for Gwen and Heimdall. Juggs for Toad. Anyone for IF…

For me, Cassie is the worst fight, with Prowler in second place. PX takes evade and miss off the table for Cassie and you don’t have to worry about falter with Prowler. Those fights are still tough but much simpler.

SIg 200 Domino, Sig 40 Juggs, 6* R5A Sig 200 Onslaught

I did this run yesterday with Domino, Mister Sinister & Onslaught.

I ranked up my 6-star Onslaught just to do this path. I was able to solo Iron Fist on the first attempt. And he made Prowler so much easier as well (cannot miss, no incinerate damage, once you get the degeneration on him he just melts).

If you have Professor X then he's probably a good option too, can do all fights except Gwenpool. I just think Onslaught is the better overall champ outside of Epoch so I ranked him up.

Who did you use for Cassie? I also have Onslaught as 6 star only so would Negasonic be a better option for Ironfist?

My team was literally Juggs, Domino, and Ons, all 7R3. The only annoying fight was Cassie, which was the only reason I brought Domino. Ons handled Gwenpool and Iron Fist without any issues, and Juggs made the Toad and Heimdall fights extremely easy. I tried Prowler with Ons but ended up using Juggs—I find him more comfortable for that fight.

How does Domino make the Cassie fight easier? Don’t get me wrong, I love my domino but I didn’t see how she would answer the evade or miss on a consistent basis.

I used Domino for Cassie, Gwenpool & Heimdall (Domino wasn't so good for Heimdall since her ability accuracy reduction sometimes prevents her from getting power). Mister Sinister (reverse control immunity) for Toad.

For your team, I think Juggernaut is great for Toad & Heimdall. Onslaught for Iron Fist & Prowler. Either Domino or Onslaught for Cassie & Gwenpool. Cassie is pretty annoying, but she is the first fight so you can practice a lot more against her.

Also, Domino can be replaced by anyone. Just use any damage dealer you're comfortable with (Deadpool X-Force, Dazzler, Negasonic...).

I think it's her small chance of having abilities fail, plus her medium being a double hit so it's easier to remove Cassie's sp1 if she fires it off.

I used Domino for Cassie, but Onslaught is good also, can totally ignore her Miss phase.

For Iron Fist I used Onslaught. Cannot imagine a better option since that was the first time I used him, and I got a solo. I think Negasonic also works, I just prefer Onslaught since he makes Prowler easier as well.

Theres too much you need to line up to be able to ramp up and maintain onslaughts ramp in that cassie fight. Its easier to just use domino

I ran Dazzler, Juggs, and Onslaught. Used Dazzler for Cassie and Gwen. Juggs for toad, Odin, and prowler. Onslaught for Ironfist.

I just completed that path with R3 Onslaught, R2 Colossus and r5a Juggs with 2 revives on path and a bunch on Ares. Took Cassie with Colossus, mainly parry heavy with occasional specials when possible. Onslaught for Ironfist and Prowler, both 1 revive each.
Your options with Onslaught are the better choices imo. I don't know which fights you plan to use Domino and especially DPXF for.
