Question regarding light essence

Battlegrounds victory track completion and alliance raids contain light essence(it's needed to acquire lumatrix - the next eidol champ). My question is are they only there for one season of battlegrounds and raids or are they there for multiple seasons?
Another question is if we don't acquire all the 12 light essence necessary for lumatrix what do we do with the remaining? Can we trade it for the six star version or are they useless?

I believe it be every season of bgs for a while if u dont get them i think its just the 7 u can trade them for

Good question, they didn't tell duration of the event. Since it's only 12, multiple bg and raids will not bring the money to Kabam. I guess one only bg and raid. If it's multiple, i can collect them over time in a year or so.

They also said u can get his dup from this event on details of it states runs till june so id say each are a few months of collecting from each place

Then Non dupe becomes kinda ftp that way. They also said lumitrix should be easy to get for top ranked players (say in GC or arena) but practically we need to pay. So i m not getting surity on what we can get as a low ranked ftp pov.

Lumitrix runs on light. So he needs 12 light essense sticks to boot up and start operating. If you want this robot you have to collect these batteries.
