Pretty sure that mole man has a similar ability like the counterpunch and that ability isn’t really broken yes it’s amazing but it requires a set of rules for it to be done it’s not like juggs almost permanent unstoppable mechanic
So that will be interesting to see if we get any balancing update information for deathless Thanos but not for deathless vision,king groot and she hulk.I will laugh if we get Thanos balance info before other deathless champs
Cant even armor break sentinel, whereas deadpool x force has broken damage in a small amount of time that nobody is immune to. If youre gonna make a thread like this, it should be him not thanos lol...
I’ve done Sentinel with Thanos. But the shatter still applies. It’s a slow fight but doable. The corrosion still does amazing damage with 8 furies. I don’t use DPX often so I’m not well versed with him and can’t comment.
The other thing is if the meta shuts down buffs, thanos will be useless and thats a common thing to happen as theyve done it a lot in the past to shut down champs like Juggs or CGR. Meanwhile no real meta can shut down deadpool, its actually crazy people would consider Thanos as unbalanced over him. Not surprised its Bero starting the dumb claim

You completely missed the point. Some champs are hindered by metas more often than others, like guardian, cgr, juggs. Thanos needing the same things as cgr and juggs (buffs) means there will be lots of times where he wont even be viable on attack.
Compare that to deadpool who no matter what meta they put, they cant really shut him down except for maybe like Crit Me one
So because a champion gains buffs, you don’t think they should changed? We have a meta that punishes buffs (or whatever the case is) maybe every 3-4 seasons. Same with debuffs, power, immunities etc….
Saying a champion gains buffs shouldn’t get rebalanced, for good or bad, because there are metas where they aren’t usable is ridiculous.
What about all the champs that are bleed or poison immune? We should just remove bleeds from the game because 30% of the champs are immune to it. Haha
I think the point being made here is that he is powerful yes, but can still be shut down. Anyways I don’t see anything from him that makes him broken. Even if a nerf was considered, what would you change?
They should limit his counterpunch charge to 1 time use per activation. I personally am I not a huge fan of him, but he is too OP. This minor change would still put him atop the Cosmic class, just a tad more balanced
If they didn’t nerf Kate Bishop, Onslaught, Serpent or Count Nefaria, they won’t nerf Thanos

First of all, kate missed rebalancing narrowly (did you play the game when she came out)? No one knew of her full potential till necro making her dodge rebalancing so she missed her nerf window.
Onslaught is not broken, he's a great champion tho and his "NERF ONSLAUGHT" campaign is the same as photon, unfair at first because players didn't know how to fight them and we weren't used to unavoidable dmg and mastery shut offs. Onslaught is also slow for battlegrounds as he rarely gets used on attack (he can do the job but is not a top BG option for atk).
Serpent should've been nerfed
And finally THERE IS NO WAY YOU THINK NEFERIA IS BROKEN. Like, do you even play the champions or just form opinions off of hype videos from Lagacy and Grass lol. Neferia gets neutered by special attacks where you cannot parry the final hit and also gets destroyed by unfazed. Neferia is not close to broken AT ALL and is not nerf worthy.
As for DL thanos he also is not getting nerfed, he's good but not THE BEST BG attacker in the game, i even think medusa is arguably the better BG attacker in the cosmic class. And as I said before, THAT IS A RANK 4 PUNCHING DOWN

Not many people run unfazed and even then the Count can regen the damage back if he’s duped. I didn’t say he is broken, he is balanced. Even in matchups where he cannot punish specials, his damage is still strong
Nefaria tbf in most scenarios is ridiculous he regens back to max health in seconds controls power gain and takes almost no damage in ionic overcharge due to tankiness. I just think that the noun ‘broken’ is just overused in most scenarios, like most champs are just generally not broken. I do think though that thanos is way better than Medusa as an attacker in bgs but that is my personal opinion. Also nefaria doesn’t need to parry the ends of specials it just makes him a lot faster
