Apothecary....

Back in 2011 when this was introduced, it was fine... What? It was released only 2 years ago? Oh, well I guess its been outdated from the start.

In all seriousness though.. The potion levels and one sure chance at a (level 1!!) revive per day is silly and terrible. Both paths on both difficulties should have potions that actually matter to people. We are getting into 7*R4's now. A level 2 health potion is just a waste of peoples time and energy even putting it into their champions. All 4 paths should have a potion that actually does something.

Then each level should have at least a guaranteed revive. A level 1 for "easy" and a level 2 for "hard", and then a "rare" chance for a level 3 to pop up on a path. There is no way that this will break the economy of the game. This quest is almost a waste of time now.

I know that about 50% of the game or more is out of date now so this is probably a scream into a void, but these things should be updated regularly with the progress of the game and its players.

Assuming you mean it's outdated for endgame players, I don't think it's completely irrelevant just yet:
The daily super event is quite easy to complete everyday, offering both a level 5 health potion and a L2 revive. It only takes 20 days(assuming you don't have the sigil) to max out your stash, and 59 if you want the maximum before they start overflowing. Having the L1 revive is a good option not only to maintain a separate stash, effectively doubling the amount of revives you can hold but also because some champions don't require the health/ benefit from lower health thresholds, so I think it's a welcome diversity.

Is there an argument to increase the number of L5 health potions, or introduce L6? Possibly, but it's much easier to obtain a decent number of L4 potions at the very least through the free crystals most people generally hold, so I don't personally believe there's an immediate need to change or improve this system

ISO/Gold/potion wise; I think the game is in a pretty good spot right now, at least when you look at it from a questing perspective. The lack of challenging side quests is an issue for sure, but not what we're discussing currently and there are many threads on this already

    TL;DR - Naw, we good

This post is way too rational & level headed to be on the forums. Makes a slight topic shift, yet realized a possibe derailment, so stops immediately. We need more of this. Well done...

    P.s- I agree

Well this is a place for these kinds of discussions and we can agree to disagree.

I wouldn't say we are "good" by any means. With the rate of endgame content that is coming out that, unless you are msd or the like, demands a good chunk of items.

29 days to max out, but new, item draining content every patch there is a deficit. The game needs to make money sure, and I get the EQ packages every now and then. The monetization is everywhere in this game though.

It hasn't happened to me, but I would be mad to run out of items and units in one of these quests and have to spend or grind while my champs were stuck.

I in no way meant that revives should be raining down like mana from heaven, but what is there is not where the game is currently. A revive and potion source that was released two years ago and not updated at all, while the game abd ranks continued to evolve creates an imbalance was all i meant.

I know that I will not convince you, and you will not convince me. I do enjoy the discussion though.

It's really a joke, this event can't even support new players, kabam has every game mode outdated, even arenas

I always think I have a ton of units for revives to finish hard content, then I burn through the units on energy refills in a marathon session of the game.

We have apothecary for revives, Goldpool for gold, I know it sounds redundant, but how about a daily for energy refills? Low energy but gives full refills?

Dumb thought, but i throw those dumb thoughts out all the time.

You get them from daily super event and the 4hr crystals....

Well damn. I should probably open those 4hr crystals.

Just because the milestones themselves don't have them directly doesn't mean they aren't there. The milestones give you the 4hr crystals which can give energy refills. So either way you wanna look at it, gotta do the daily super event.

    I haven't joined Apothecary since day 1.

I explore the second Apothecary quest every day. I only look in the first one, and don't do it if there's no revive. Only found a revive in there about 3 times since it started.

As far as revives go, DSE and apothecary yeah.

But if you have the energy, you could repeatedly try to make three arachnid friends in two classic friendly neighborhoods.

I usually only make 2 arachnid friends in two classic friendly neighborhoods, it is just better than the extra one.
