I am not normally given to tinfoil hat pronouncements. However, I know someone who did the same and tracked all of their pulls from each Valiant nexus because he had also been tracking terrible luck in featured Valiants (as in a single non-feature 7* across nearly 150 featured tries).

Results from his nexus Valiants:
76 total 5* pulls (84.4%)
4 6* nexus pulls (4.4%)
10 6* pulls (11.1%)

Non-5* pulls aggregated to 15.5% overall. No 7*, and 6* nexus dropping slightly more than indicated.

This tracks with the overall sense that non-5* pulls *feel* overweighted in Valiant crystals.

It isn’t, however, a large enough number to indicate the provided percentages are inaccurate. But it does make one curious to know the breadth of variability working within the Valiant crystals. The most recent example for me was the Couples Valiants—across the initial batch of those, it seemed like 7*’s were more abundant. Possibly, I happened on a “fertile” batch, or possibly there was a wider distribution of outcomes across the mean drop rates.

We can never know. For now, I use my personal “double the bad, half the good” rule of thumb for any odds in game. It may not be correct, but it works to manage my expectations.

Only got 1 7*… ended up being 7* nexus and I ended up pulling Adam

Crazy thing during raids I got 7* shards and I managed to dupe Adam then silk!

I took the gamble and it paid off, i wont be picking up this months card tho.

I was hoping for shards or similar to this one but it’s all good. I’m not in a rush for t7b.
