Paragon Gauntlet

So I did the Gauntlet again this month; the TB EQ is a little tedious, but I do like the Gauntlet, and overall I just like having more mindless content in between my EoP runs, which are pretty stressful for me.
I'm all for a Valiant EQ or Gauntlet, but I think I'll keep doing the current TB EQ and Paragon Gauntlet too, so I hope they don't get rid of that.

Anyway, the rewards were what's on the screen and the 100 T2 dust and refined XP from the objective reward.
For the Gauntlet, I used Doom for Phoenix (need to nullify or stagger her indestructibles otherwise you won't do damage).
Anyone works for Beast.
Vox for Warlock because Vox is power drain immune and there is some kind of node where you get power drained constantly.
Anyone works for Cable.
Jack for Jean Grey because of reverse control immunity.
And then for some reason Vox got killed by Bastion without even taking a direct hit. Not sure if that was a node or Bastion's normal kit or some kind of interaction.
Used Jack to finish it.

Did bastion had any nullify nodes? Vox takes a lot of damage if any of his buffs are nullfied

Ah yeah, I'll have to take a look, but that makes sense.

CGR absolutely DESTROYED Bastion like he was a 2-star. Hulkling was great on the power burn node, I guess that was Warlock?

Vox was awesome against Bastion for me.

    Phoenix - Wiccan
    Cable - Wiccan
    Beast - G99
    Warlock - Vox
    Jean - G99
    Bastion - Vox

    Everything was pretty straight forward.

Yeah, I think it's safe to say Bastion will not have any defender value, although Kabam never intended him to I guess.
I'm still really interested in getting him, but I will say that I'm starting to be more interested in dual-threat champs for my BG roster.
It just gives you so much flexibility to draft 7 decent dual threats instead of a mix of nuke attackers and meta defenders and already forecast exactly how the matchups will unfold...

The mindless runs for me these days are:
First and foremost autoplaying apotheCurry and then jumping right to the second lowest eq difficulty and dumping energy.
Used to finish tb EQ on day 1 or 2.
I need to run it for the refined xp this time.

Yeah, Bastion was the easiest final EQ boss I can remember in years. Much different story from Zola, who was one of the hardest in a long time.
