Alliance War and Alliance War Event out of synch

The Alliance War event expires in 2 days, but the current war season doesn't end for 16 days. This is very annoying and frustrating as this event started before the war season did so there was less opportunity to earn points(my alliance tends not to join wars offseason) and I won't be able to earn points for the remainder of the season. Please get the war season and war event back into synch

Not only that, but since a number of alliances didn't match in the first war, we've had even less opportunity to complete the event.
