I've seen way more smaller accounts playing BG this season than in the last few seasons. The node is easy to plan around (most players have tons of mutants), and the rewards have been upgraded. So this typical "BG is unfair" narrative is way less resonant this season.
And I think I was wrong when I thought that upgrading BG rewards wouldn't make a difference. Clearly it does, and has flushed a lot more BG players out of the woodwork.
Well done, Kabam. Yet another W.
Upgraded rewards? All they did was allocate them somewhere else.

No they added a bunch of rewards, and you can even double dip this season with the milestones. There's 10k Titan shards in Vibranium and a lot of 7* shards in the lower brackets.
1. The new season starts. Nice 2. Check the season criteria and sort out the player deck. 3. Find a game. 4. See the roster, hope they quit out. 5. Find a game. 6. See the roster, hope they quit out. 7. Find a game. 8. See the roster, hope they quit out. 9. Find a game. 10. See the roster, hope they quit out.
I'm just not a fan of the meta. Otherwise it's been fine for me.
Yeah, I wish this GC node where you also get rooted was part of the VC node too. It adds an extra element of challenge to an otherwise cookie cutter "who has more mutants" snoozefest.

Sorry but 15k 7 star and 10k titans shard is more then your getting normally. Unless you play in top gc.

Double dipping isn't a buff, it's a temporary effect. "New" rewards in VT gives me about the same amount of rewards I used to get from solo event except I'm unable to get 7* sig stones anymore... Definitely not a buff.
I win matches against people who have much better rosters than me. Sometimes people win against me with much worse rosters. You actually have to play the match, you might win.

Yeah, we're all just talking about how Kabam is making it rain this season. We collect the buffed rewards this season and we make a decision about next season when next season comes.
So what's everyone's BG routine? I'll go first. 1. The new season starts. Nice 2. Check the season criteria and sort out the player deck. 3. Find a game. 4. See the roster, quit out. 5. Find a game. 6. See the roster, quit out. 7. Find a game. 8. See the roster, quit out. 9. Find a game. 10. See the roster, quit out. 11. Find a game. 12. See the roster, quit out. 13. Etc... 14. Etc... 15. Etc... 16. Season ends 17. New season starts. Nice 18. Rinse and repeat.
Is it just me? But I can say this is the last BG season I've played. Adios, BG, it's been real.
You’re getting put against stacked accounts at bronze level??? I could theoretically see that being the case for someone who regularly makes it to GC every month and gets reshuffled back to diamond rank at the beginning of every season with all the other stacked accounts, but that doesn’t match the scenario you’re describing. How do you expect to improve if you don’t even try? I’ve never forfeited a single match. That’s not to say that I don’t get angry when the game matches me against accounts that I don’t believe I should be matched against but occasionally I win some of those matches and learn what to do next time. This particular meta is much easier for an underpowered deck to win. I only have 5 R3s and I’ve beaten a few players with 15+ R3s just by drafting well and playing the node. Hell my R1 Storm has been a huge MVP for me this season destroying defenders in one SP2. 6* Kitty and 6* DPX have also been phenomenal. Almost every meta has a way for an underpowered deck two punch above its weight.

Buff because 10,000>2500
Yeah, don't worry about him. Remember, he said he was quitting after last BG season.
Maybe don't quit out next time? I have 2 r4s and 23 r3s, yesterday I lost against a guy with just 6 r3s and adeck full of 6* r4s and 7* r1s. There's always chance of newbie valiants and paragons in bgs. And you won't improve if you always quit and refuse to learn.
I will acknowledge your very valid advice and thank you for the comment. But playing BG since its inception and having come to this is not fun anymore.
maybe play less BGs and start focusing on content to help your roster so you can stop quitting out like a coward.
It's sad to hear such a remark, "coward." I have already done all the story content 100% and am at Valiant with a decent roster. I have been playing MCOC for 9 years now, so not so much as your comment eludes to. I am just expressing how monotonous it has become.

Out of curiosity, how many R3s and r4s do you have? Are you in VT or GC
1. The new season starts. Nice 2. Check the season criteria and sort out the player deck. 3. Promise myself I won’t quit out. 4. AFK run first 5 match’s for the rewards. 5. Find a game. 6. Etc... 14. Etc... 15. Etc… 16. Last 2 days of the season, grind to GC, loose the last match before getting of VT, crash out and weep and curse Kabam for their stupid game of bugs and how they never fix it. 17. Season ends 18. New season starts. Nice 19. Rinse and repeat.

You're quitting out of matches because you don't want to go against the roster. How is coward not the right word?

So you claim to check all the right boxes, yet you still quit out of every match because you're scared of your opponents? Something isn't adding up here, and coward is a fairly accurate description of your behavior toward a game mode you claim to have a roster capable of competing in. It may make you sad to hear it, but it your post is far more sad.
