Enchantress - It’s time she was nerfed.There are alliances out there who don’t care about defender diversity and are littering their defences with high ranking defenders like Onslaught and Enchantress. You make one mistake against her and it’s night-night. It’s not a skill issue, she just needs to be down-tuned!

Defender diversity is equal to 3 attack bonus. They’re taking a huge loss doing this even if you can’t beat her in less than 3.

Yeah Chanty is a pretty simple defender. Bait out heavy, counter heavy, then intercept, then knock her down. Repeat until you win. Not too complicated and very skill based unlike some other defenders.

Yeah, there are only really two things that complicate Enchantress in AW: 1) nodes like heavy hitter that make it harder to punish heavy, and 2) nodes/mystic dispersion giving her a bar of power before you’ve cleared all her spells. Luckily, there is a class of champions that is well equipped with utility like slow and power gain control, and it just so happens to be the class you want to take into a fight against her anyway.

It's not an Enchantress issue it's more of an AI issue, I've lost count of how many times I lost 20% of my health from block damage alone because she decides to throw full five hit combos into my block instead of throwing her damn heavy but the mechanics themselves are not hard to counter.

No defender should have 3 times better abilities as a defender than as an attacker.

The biggest problem is the buffs she has for a long time after a special that actively prevent the removal of spells. In addition to that AI is a mess when it comes to intercepts, so all it takes is for her to stand there and intercept your intercept, into a special and you are dead. When RNG favours you, she gets 3 of the same spell, if RNG wants you to lose, it gives her always a spell of each. Add to that the damage through block from a 7 star and it's no wonder the experience of players is going down the drain.

That's not a nerf. It's how the game progresses. Champs are released, and counters are released later on.

Im saying theres literally 0 reason to nerf her when shes getting direct counters released just for her. She doesnt even need a direct counter, since you just have to play around the spells. Its not Serpent where half the counters are slow

It’s all additive.

It’s the way that she evades knockdown, or unstoppable when intercepting or causes miss when punishing heavy.

It’s the AI that does full combos into block without heavy.
It’s the AI that spams specials into block. It’s that you can’t push her to sp2.

It’s starting with 3 of her buffs (when 2 are about what is manageable).

It’s the dmg reduction with the spells on, which means you can’t just nuke her.

It’s the passive DOT through block.
It’s the block penetration.

I’m not seeing any single counter that can handle all her ****. It’s like they tried to make a champ who is terrible to fight against and terrible to use. And they succeeded.
She’s the only champ in the game that punishes you for playing right (baiting specific specials), and for even playing her game.

Add to that bad RNG and you got a bad experience for everyone.

Why is it that everytime a defender is harder than normal we need to nerf them? This hapen with Peni, Korg, Hulkling, Serpent, Bullseye and now Enchantress. It seems like we want easy defenders that we can take down in a minute or less with a 100% health everytime. How boring of a game would that be if that was always the case. I am below average of a player but I do want a challenge to improve my skills. I used to hate fighting Onslaught, Bullseye and Serpent but after fighting them so many times in BG. I don't mind it anymore. I have also fought many Enchantress recently and I will admit she is hard but I'm getting better at taking her down. Will I be able to take her down in 30 seoncds with 100% health in BG, definitely not but will my opponent be able to take her down that fast with more health. If they do, then they deserve the win since they are more skilled then me. Good for them. Should I complaint everytime I have to face her and my opponent doesn't, yes but it doesn't do me any good. If you take it as a challenge you will get better fighting her over time.

Man the enchantress glazing is real on this forum. Everyone commenting skill issue has been whopped and will be getting whopped by enchantress in game modes. OP wanted her to be nerfed, you can tell him how to fight her or how to work around the knockdown evade or how to not miss when she has untouchable or how to intercept her with unstoppable on. What are the perfect counters or just ask him more questions about his issue. But no, we just got a amazing opportunity to write skill issue like a brain dead NPC and we will never miss it.

Can evade knockdowns
Unstoppable on intercepts
Can make you miss
Intercepting her is mandatory
Doesn't take any damage with spells on
Mandatory block damage
Can place passive effects through block on specials
Has the worst ai in game

On top of all this her signature ability also makes her a better defender. It ALSO scales up with sig levels.
You have to literally research how to defeat her. It's a god damn game not a thesis.

I challenge you to name one more defender who is this complicated.

Arnim Zola is also pretty tough but due to one mechanic. you have to heavy counter him. This is a tough but balanced defender. Enchantress is plain randomness

Seems there are at least two with the same skill issue. The first dozens times I face Enchantress in any game mode, I dreaded so much but I have learned to fight her better over time. You could say I develop my MCOC skills over my typing skills. Did you say the same thing when Korg, Attuma, Peni, Hulkling, Bullseye and Serpent first came out. When those champs first appear there was an uproar about how it's too hard to beat them. Overtime, players adapted to how to handle them with most champs so it will be the same for Enchantress. Players will have to learn how to get better at handling her and will know how to handle her. Kabam will come up with a different defender to make life hard for us and the cycle begins again.
