Glitch or Cheat

How is it that a person from the opposing team is able to jump over nodes in AW? This guy was sitting at node 20 and somehow jumped over that node without fighting the champ. Then jumped over node 41 and fought the champ at node 45? Is there some kind of glitch?

    Sounds like a pretty standard visual glitch. This used to happen all the time and Reddit was full of screenshots accusing ppl of hacking.
