    Guys....
If you don't buy this absolute banger of the offer your life is over.
Just uninstall and quit if you miss it.

Throw money or grind your life away in arenas.
You don't want to skip it.

I appreciate the sarcasm but for the record, no one should grind their life away in arenas or spend cash.

Just hold off on doing 9.2.6 until you've saved up the units to buy the offer. Units really do add up quickly if you play the game; just autofighting the lower progression EQs is about 500 units. Arenas (other than the 4*) take about an hour to complete and give 300-400 units. It's not that difficult with a little patience and self-control (i.e., not wasting units on impulsive purchases/revives).
I have completely stopped doing arenas since October last year.
    I have 6k units.
2 offers I spent units on.
    - 750 unit relic AG February
    - 1000 unit TB EQ unit bundle.
I did Ordeal, Epoch, 4 CCP challanges, 3 gauntlet run, 2 EOP runs. 2 necro challanges left, I don't have fam or odin/serp. Here's my backup stash.

Without arenas, I'm not going to reach 15k units anyway. By the time I reach 15k (if that happens) there will be better offers and the game would have progressed.
I am never going to do arenas ever again. 150k arena fights are already under me stats.

I don't mean this as personal attack that some of us know what we are doing on how to maximise rewards in-game. Many of us have played this game for a lot longer and have a deeper understanding of what we want/need.
    My P3 alliance don't need 1 extra r4.
My map668 AQ alliance don't need 1 extra r4 for prestige.
My BG deck don't need 1 extra R4 to defeat whale noobs, the skilled whales are the real threat and those matches has been like that forever.
Used to land m2, but not since October, when I stopped pushing. I have been all over arcane, gamma, uru, a rare quantum in between. I don't/can't push BGs tbh. Maybe someday I will. But most likely never again.
The only catchup for most people in the game are missing deathless champs. Other catchups are not that important from what I have observed. Whales have 50 r3s. No f2p can catch up to that.

This is my f2p perspective who will never play arenas (outside the anniversary ones, they rock).

People who still do arenas and/or have units or they can re-stash units again for future offers, have to decide for themselves.
The whales who know they will buy odins or namors in future, have to decide for themselves.

I don't care enough about it, playing the game on my terms. To nobody's surprise, it's going great.

Sure, it's a good offer, if I was as sweaty as before, I would maybe get it.
But you'll live, if you skip it.
Yeah, I have no bones to pick with your perspective at all. It makes total sense and it's good to see someone playing on their own terms and being happy about it.

My views are kinda premised on being a fully engaged player, not necessarily a good player, but someone still chasing the carrot at the end of the stick and living in the moment of the game.

It would've been fun to have some of these discussions with you when you were still sweaty and with that fire in your eye, but then again, burnout/apathy is inevitable and I totally see myself either following your footsteps or just straight quitting when 8s come out, assuming I even make it that long.

But until that point I'm gonna:

so this is the 9.2 unit deal, do you guys think this is worth waiting and buying? this isn't my screenshot so I think IF this is worth it I can complete it after I'm ready to buy it. Seems tempting af tho

Why would they release such a deal?

Probably because R4s will come relatively fast and it's a good option to monetize atm before there's too many R4s and it looses value.

I would strongly guess we'll be seeing many R4s on next sales as well because T7b fragments will be obtainable in SDE and they already exist in many areas of the game.

    So my answer is no.
I know I'm posting a lot in this thread, but I really feel strongly that some bad-faith apples are trying to mislead people.

The real monetization push for R4s already happened, during the Banquet event where people spent $100K or whatever it was for their first R4s.
That was Kabam's cash grab moment.

This 9.2 unit deal, by contrast, is practically a catch-up mechanic for non-whales who’ve been playing smart—stockpiling units, skipping impulse revives, and saving for a real offer.

This deal doesn't require cash, and people constantly framing it in those terms are showing their hand; I already explained who these people are.
No, this unit deal is arguably one of the fairest high-end offers Kabam has put out. It's clearly designed with patient F2P (or light-spender) people in mind.

Before 9.2.6, there was still a divide between even the top non-spenders who had max two R4s and the whales who had 3+. Now non-whales will have 4, and even if the whales have 5 or 6 or more, the gap has become less relevant with higher numbers. Heck, now even players who couldn't get do EoP and the Ordeal and Carrinas will be able to get their first TWO R4s.

But I'm not surprised that the bitter apples can't even see a win for the common players when it's staring them in the face.
The problem is if youre a casual player that hoards units but doesn't spend heavy or do copious amounts of arena, then july 4 is going to have much better value , and its going to have an r4 gem as well.

Why spend units here when july 4 requires 36k units to unlock the final tier of the unit offers? And you cant say "this is permanent you can wait to complete it later" because then youre missing out on on catalysts to do a GENERIC r4 rank up
We don't know what July 4th is going to bring. If someone has the Units and wants another R4, or their first one, then they're better served getting it than waiting on something and building a potential disappointment.

This offer is geared towards "Those" people who knows they are 'those people'. And they will get it.

I chased my carrot. That raging fire is now smoldering fire. I was in top 30 AQ and P1. I had 5k units. I grinded for two weeks, got lucky with BCs and managed 10k units to buy 7.4 offer polygon sent above. I put in extra effort to get the offer before they announced Paragon. I was not alone, many people were on that unit grind to buy the offer boat.
The situation was kinda same. If I remember correctly, 7.4 also came in April and then they announced Paragon in May. Along came the big controversy. To get paragon day1, people needed to buy this offer. Many whales managed to triple dip due to that. Lol
I'm still finding fun in the game. This alt account has provided me heaps of joy. I'm not shooting for the stars but I look forward to most endgame content. And ever since I stopped caring, it's 100% less stressful and there is almost no burnout. The usual stress is mostly self induced.

It's not horrible for a guaranteed r4 7*, but it's a tad bit overpriced, and should have at least 50x7* generic sig stones in it. I'm going to hold off on completion until I see what other deals offer.

I can arguably say I'm patient, I have 7 Titans and 2 Titan nexus to open plus other 7* basics. I also have the units to purchase that 9.2 unit deal, don't spend on revives and I'm also F2P.

Regarding catch up mechanic against whales, it's simply not true because 1) Whales will also be able to buy that deal 2) There are far more spending offers for them overall 3) Top ranked players are now able to aquire more t7b from game mode rank rewards.

The decision whether the deal is valuable or not is based on players perspective. As far as how I see things, it's clear to me that r4s are going to come relatively fast which means they will also devalue fast. Next progression title will most likely come by the end of the year and T7CC will probably be the chase Item for banquet. The pace will go slower again for R5 acquisitions. I can't say I know this will happen for a fact however since I started playing this game I pay a lot of attention towards game economy and how things are being handled precisely because I try to maximize both my time and my resources.

Is it a bad deal? No
Would I consider purchasing it? No
Respectfully, I just don't understand how you can claim attention to the game economy and yet still inquire there will likely be another progression title by the end of this year. Valiant is barely getting its EQ next month, with the promised implementation that EQ rewards will now scale with top 30 prestige. This largely minimizes the value and impact of progression titles as more external sources now control the cap on your rewards opposed to the title. Valiant is all endgame reward right now, if they were to release another title it would seem useless and would likely see valiant rewards nerfed to compensate as inherent value for the new title, I don't buy it.

    1. Timelines

    • Thronbreaker: Oct 2020
    • Paragon: April 2022
    • Valiant: Oct 2023

It will be 2 years since valiant title came out surpassing both timelines between other two titles with 1 1/2 years difference each.

    2. Devaluation of current resources

T7b will start to devalue, we've already seen the difference between Valentine and 9.2 offers. Non spenders can obtain four 7 r4s atm; whales will have around 8-9; top alliances will be able to R4 a champ every month from AW, BGs and Raids so that would be around 8 more by competitive game modes throughout the year. T7b has also been introduced in AW showcase, incursions and probably Valiant EQ will have some as well for the more casual playerbase and let's not forget about the already mentioned SDE 2.0. All this not counting sales which makes me think a reasonable total of 30 R4s by the end of the year. Awakening gems and sig stones have passed their prime.

    3. Chase Item for Banquet

One of the best monetizing events Kabam has is Banquet where there's no limit on how much players are willing to spend. There has to be a chase resource and it makes sense for the introduction of T5A. With around 30 R4s by the end of the year I honestly don't see T7b being that chase item.

    4. End Game incentivizer

End game content has to have a meaningful resource offered in order to incentivize the playerbase to fully explore it do to the difficulty factor. Otherwise, the majority of the playerbase will simply pass and avoid stressing themselves over non relevant game rewards. It only makes sense that another type of Necro is introduced by the end of the year which will be the first aquirable mean for T5A in order to open the gates for Banquet.

    5. Playerbase progression

End gamers need to have the feeling of being able to progress aside from roster strength and titles serve that purpose. It's the next step in progression that fulfills their need of identity, something that values their efforts in game and takes them a step away from the rest of the player base which also serves as an incentivizer for lower progressions to stay engaged with the game and avoid stagnation.

These are some of the things I think about while making this prediction. Valiant EQ having rewards scale with prestige only makes the mode relevant for all progressions including the next title holders.

Many casual players erroneously believe the game runs around content like EQ, SQ, Incursions, Acts, etc however from what I see, they are the base of where the vast majority of the playerbase needs to be in order for the game to stay healthy. On the other hand, it's most likely dev's reward budget is worked around the total amount of aquirable rewards end gamers can have throughout certain time period.

    Tumblr GIF

Man, didn't 7.4 come out like 3 years ago? And y'all still talking about like it was yesterday. Kinda funny Al Bundy vibes, ngl...

It's a vicious cycle. Same shii keep repeating itself. And we are at the center of this conflict.
I am pretty sure there's a better example but Okay.
You can replace 'drink water' with 'eat'.
Everybody got a prefrence. Who am I to judge.

It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong, and I am that big man.
Especially after looking at the new radiance store and how many T7Bs people can buy, I no longer see any good reason to spend 15k units on this completion offer.
Even if you won't be getting enough radiance to get the T7Bs, there just isn't any point in trying to keep up. Makes sense to just play the waiting game and hope for good deals for those 15k units at J4 or CW.

Explored it today, was never going to buy apart from the insignificant opportunity to climb higher on the regional leaderboards which had me thinking for the amount of time it takes for the ai to throw a sp3 in between DOT ticks when the next tick ends the fight haha.

    Did not buy.

Just finished 9.2. Tempting to buy this deal.

Does any1 know if the spring cleaning deals/bundles could be bought with units? Or is it only with poolshields?

Spring cleaning is only with the pool shields which you get for cash. In May we should be able to spend units, though. Get those special heart of fire champion crystals and work towards milestones.
