Rebalance team, Deathless Visions issue is power control

His damage is totally fine, it’s his power control mechanics that are just too finicky. Please consider this in your tube up.

His power control isn't really the issue. It's just the tightness of his rotation. Extending his Fury and chase duration a little would help a lot

I’m still not sure I see this as a hot take. I’ve used Deathless Vision a pretty decent amount of times and his attack power is solid (granted, I tend to use him exclusively with the Deathless Thanos synergy). The reason why I’m saying this, is when I think a Vision character, I don’t think of a champion that I utilize to do damage, I think of a champion that I utilize to deal with power. Currently and personally, I feel his power control mechanism is just too tight, it’s just too difficult to keep going consistently. If you think he needs more damage, sure, why not, that’s never a bad thing, but I hope from my side of the conversation, his power control is in the conversation the rebalance team is having.

They've explicitly said from before deathless vision a released that og visions power control is too strong in the current state of the game and deathless vision is basically what an og vision buff would look like. They're never going to touch his power control

OG Vision and Vision (AoU) power control is too much to introduce for current Kabam that's skittish about everything but broken and annoying defenders, so he'll never come close to that. The best we can hope for, IMO, is for his damage and the utility from Miss to get a bump.

I would be good with his current situation if he did power steal on Miss or hit while Phased. Also, give him a visual effect on his model when Phased. Just the passive icon is lame.

Late June 2027 can't come soon enough!

og vision is a 7*, and players had a chance to select him in the banquet event so it doesn’t seem like kabam thinks his power control is too much

Yes, they did say that; and I can see how Classic Visions Power control is seen as too much for a hard-hitter; but it wouldn't be the first time they've under-tuned someone to avoid over-tuning then.

That's one of the main things the balance team is looking for; and I do agree that (1) the rotation is very tight and (2) the actual control feels pretty minimal.

They dropped the SP1 from Classic Vision burning 100% of a bar to Deathless Vision burning 33% of a bar of Power. That's a huge drop.

If it was 50% of a bar of Power, it would feel like you actually had some control. Which currently, you don't.

    or

There are other ways to be good at controlling Power: They could give him an ability to enhance the Collar Tech Mastery or he could inflict a Suppression or Wither effect on a Parry, Dodge or Heavy attack.

A solid Suppression ability would make it easier to avoid pushing the opponent past the point where you can't drain them across a bar of power.

Or he could inflict an effect like a passive Wither or Suppression (or Disintegrate would be cool...) any time he activates Phase.

That would be in keeping with his design; and would make him at least a bit better at the one thing he should be good at. Also Disintegrate would be a source of both damage, and Power Control.

They've talked about Vision's power control being as good as it's going to get for straight-up taking away power.

I really wish Kabam would've expanded more on the existing champion's kits rather than just reskinning their original abilities. Seems like a missed opportunity to me
