Somebody sent me something that is not there.

So, a fellow in my alliance sent me something(my iPhone had a notification) and I went to claim it. I got in game and there was nothing in my inbox. I asked them about it and they said they sent me something. What is going on?

    Agreed, I'm receiving like 8 notifications a day from players there I don't know who they are, it tells they are sending me gifts. But when I open the game there's nothing there, no inbox message, no item
