Dropped the ball on war

I'm sure this will get disagrees, but that's okay.

I honestly think that by reverting to the normal war map for next season that Kabam have dropped the ball here.

Thousands of summoners lives made easier by having one fight instead of trawling through paths.
So much more focus on how you play a particular champion against different RPG mechanics meant you learnt the game a bit more instead of trying to bodge your way through a bad match up because you only have certain slots on your team.

I for one have never enjoyed war this much and have never been more engaged with the mode, and by reverting it back, I have never been less interested in war again.

I appreciate Kabam can't win here as the new war map wasn't universally liked, but, just one season?!? Couldn't you have tweaked it a bit and given it at least a second season?

Please save war Kabam and give us back this 1 fight system....

It was planned as a one season test from the minute they announced it.

Its an alright change. However, there are definitely issues that should be addressed before it comes back permanently or even for a 2nd season.

my two cents

the current map is a great break from the stress of t1 war and i wouldn't mind seeing it maybe 2 or so times a year for a season but og war isn't replaceable and that's non-negotiable for t1 tryhards like me lol. war is the only thing that has meaning in this game. battlegrounds has a similar feel but dying has much more impact and permanence in AW which is why it's so much more important.

if the the current map is a proven success and i really think it is, keep it for beginners and mid level players but retain the classic map for t1-t4 (or whatever, t1-t6 etc..).

tl:dr the og map is the only thing some of us have left. don't take it away.
