Tomorrow this event will be launched, with these brief info, we know that each node requires us to swap champs, I think it'll be more fun & less stressful if they let us use same champs for 2,3 nodes in total instead of only one (since 7* champs are limited) 😮‍💨

I posted my theory crafting on this on reddit.. basically a wheel of fortune type thing where you spin you classes / attributes/ combat styles to get the restrictions. People pretty much hated my idea... but it was something i though would be fun to create, just have to be not overly restrictive. Exclusion rather than inclusion..can't have xyz rather than must have abc. We'll find out in a few hours

To be fair, in a few years, the rewards will be irrelevant. I haven't done Abyss, nor will I ever because the rewards are trash for Valiant players. Although, I am somewhat looking forward to this content. It's limiting, but the rewards seem solid and, for people with big rosters, it hopefully won't be crazy difficult. We'll see later today

It would be interesting if they provided selectors for this Everest content to get the assigned rewards or radiance. Not enough to make it equal level of rewards available but enough to incentivize running old content and getting something worthwhile.

At the very least, with this style of content, it isn't a several hour per path investment like Abyss and Necro can be. It's a lot faster to clear this content for the rewards. So while the rewards will certainly go down in value over time, it will likely remain as valuable content that helps newer/lower accounts progress in the future. Abyss definitely doesn't do that.

The health pools are that much lower? Because the number of fights is almost equal to a Necropolis path.

It has to be easier than Necro as far as nodes and healthpools because the quests don't change, only your options do, and we know the first quest has to be pretty easy.
So how can the first quest be easy and the third quest "aspirational" if the only thing that changes is the choice node?

Just because the first quest will be easier than the second and third, doesn't mean it's gonna be easy. 🤣

Not to mention that it also doesn't mean that it'll be hard (available roster depending). They expected Abyss to take months to clear and Seatin beat it on the first day while remaining unbanned on vacation in Mexico. The content can be hard on paper and easy in reality, though I think they've done a better job of balancing that lately.

The first quest when fighting serpent the choice is between white tiger and shathra. The third quest it is between rocket raccoon and civil warrior.
Kabam’s revenge — Carnage, Civil Warrior and DDHK are best options for quest 3.

It's limited to 7* only, so that would be quite the surprise, whether it's breaking the 7* gate or releasing 7* Groot.

I'm still amazed at how Seatin blindly(informed though) choose 4 champs and they were the Horsemen Of the Abyss.

It would be so funny if Groot was a boss and the only way to acquire Groot was in this crystal. He can be a menace with his unblockable sp2 and regen and buffs and debuffs reduction.

I'm sure Collectors are going to choose him

In a few years you can do it stress free if you want.
It's permanent content, nothing requires you to do it today. 😎
Look at Abyss, it's easy now. It wasn't easy when it was released though.
Even necropolis is way easier now in comparison to when it came out.
Feel free to wait a couple years and make it easier on yourself. 💪

By July 4th, the rewards will already become irrelevant. For those that don't want to spend money, 9.3 exploration will give you even better rewards for less work. At least with necropolis, it was the only way to get a rank 4 champ so you were forced to complete it to get valiant. Kabam needs to introduce meaningful endgame content instead of just putting all the meta defenders on one path with cheesey nodes.

I mean, this is what I expect, and it's fine by me. I can defeat Serpent with RR and a bunch of revives.
All I ask is that I get to do some damage without needing skill.

Every new “End Game, Everest content” piece should include Radiance (at least 20K), XP coins, or a mastery point.

The biggest chase items in the game right now are radiance (because of the Rank materials, Magikal implications… and the mastery point)

As well as R4 materials, 7 star AG’s, and XP (because of the units, emotes and probably… the mastery points). The new mode is lacking in 2 of the most important areas.

Im aware that the rewards are going to be outdated fast, they were always going to be outdated fast given they released it what, 3 weeks before July 4th sales?

And now that it's out, unless your roster is super deep and you can do it relatively easily, the rewards aren't worth the time/effort it will take even today.
Damn, even with being able to do it relatively easily, I'm not sure it's worth the effort for most

The rewards already looked lackluster before the content was dropped and now that it has dropped, it makes the rewards look even more trash 🤣

Add the whole torch fiasco and it's even worse.
When I originally seen torch thinking he would be in the selector I was pumped and ready to go for it but once they said the wording in the livestream was wrong and torch wasn't in there, I haven't even bothered with it yet.
I say this as a dude still needing serpent as well. 😰
