Who is Wheel of Fate for?

In most situations, the community here seems to be split in two. Some people like new content, others don't. But this... I think most people will agree that Wheel of Fate is not exactly seen as the brand new, best everest content that everyone will want to do.
I have seen some responses to the main criticisms of the quest being "WoF is not temporary, you are meant to do it in the future". That's how, after all, a lot of Everest content works. Many people didn't do Necropolis or Epoch on the first day, but the key difference here is, as you might guess, the difficulty to rewards ratio.
Why would I want to build up my roster, get stronger and prepare myself for this great challenge when, by the time I will be able to do it, the rewards won't be worth it? They are already outdated, on day one. It doesn't matter if I wait half a year or half a decade to do it. The only thing that could potentially make people want to play WoF would be the enjoyment factor. Labyrinth has awful rewards by today's standards, but atleast it's kinda fun to get in there and see how fast you can beat it. Again, not in this case, as WoF is entirely reliant on restricting player's options. Nothing besides that. No creative nodes or fun fights, just a slog.
To give another example, I did Necropolis somewhere around March this year. The quest came out in November 2023. So around one and a half year after its release. And the rewards still felt useful to me. They actively impacted my account and I felt satisfied after doing my run. I mostly did it to get Maestro, as that was always my main goal in this game since 2015.
What I'm mainly asking here is this. What are some actually good arguments for doing Wheel of Fate, at any point in time? Not "just do it when you have all the 7* in game" or "its meant to be difficult for difficulty's sake". If there is someone out there who is enjoying WoF then all the power to you, but as someone who was excited to try out some new, everest content, I am simply dissapointed.

Just for him. Cause why make content assessable to everyone? Unheard of!
