Could this be a way to save WoF

So I'm read various reasons on why players feel the WoF was a let down as Everest Content, and most boiled down the Over complicated/ Challenges content and underwhelming rewards.
Now one thing we all know about the MVOC community is that they will grind the content to hell and back if the rewards is good enough for the effort.
So could this be a solution?
Add a Solo Objective - Complete WoF in a month (of release)
Rewards :- 2 Selectors for the Omega Day champ

Would love hear your thought on what wpuld ve the Balance rewards for this content.
Whatever it is, I would imagine the Solo Object is the best route for it, since people already started on the content.
Epoch came with a ton of refined XP - why does this quest have 0?
Epoch came with an R4 gem PLUS a t7b, while this gives only enough t7b for one R4.
Epoch had 30m gold, this has none.
Epoch had a 2<3 gem and several 1<2 gems, this content has nothing for earlier ranks except T4a.
Epoch had several class 7* crystals, a titan, a titan Nexus, and a 7* nexus; this has a titan, a 7* nexus, a handful of shards, and maybe a titan Nexus if that's what you choose instead of a champ that may or may not just be 20 sigs.
Epoch has a generic 7* AG, this one is a class crystal
Epoch was easier, and it seems that Epoch was likely faster. Epoch was also definitely enjoyable content. Yet the rewards for this content are a joke by comparison.
At an absolute minimum, the rewards should meet Epoch (plus the selector, plus the the t7b that gives another full R4) or the difficulty and time investment should be below Epoch.
Edit: forgot to add the part that Epoch was in a lot of ways less restrictive too. You needed the right champs, plural, not just the right champ, singular.
Who do you want from Omega so badly...
I would also love it is Kabam would buff/add those extra you mentioned to this content. I guess for me I was think about what realistically Kabam wpuld implement, and the Omega Day champs seem not too far fetch.
Remewhen the CCP Carina came out, the Tigra and Mojo challenges was way over turn and the rewards was really lacking, especially on the rank up materials side, and Kabam didn't bother doing anything.
I guess this is just an other one of tbose content that will collect dust for most players (ironically you can't actually get Dust from this challenge) 🤣🤣🤣
The conversation I am interested in, and the conversation I hope Kabam enters into before they escape for the weekend, is what the reasonable expectations for the players are based on history and progression. To increase the difficulty while reducing the rewards is unreasonable. To take the fun out of a game and make every moment a pain point is unreasonable. To make clear statements and then walk them back is unreasonable. To assume that increased difficulty should result in increased rewards is reasonable. To assume that a game can and should be both challenging AND (not or) enjoyable is reasonable.
So yeah, I know our first thought might be to find a compromise that isn't asking too much of Kabam because it may be more realistic that they actually do it, but the reasonable thing here is to not take the 20 steps back they did when they released the content.
Someone said somewhere else that these rewards are going to be outdated by July 4th - ya know, that sale that starts in less than 3 weeks. And they're right, but that's because these rewards are already a regression from previous rewards, yet somehow we also have to work harder to get them. It's unreasonable.
This content is way too restrictive and discourages creativity. It’s a rank-up brick wall. It’s a pull this specific champ or don’t attempt the content.
If this is aspirational content, then it will only be aspirational for two more weeks…when July 4th releases. Because I can almost guarantee the units I could spend on revives on this content will be more worthwhile to spend on July 4th offers.
The restrictive nature of this quest, compared to previous quests, with July 4th around the corner gives me zero drive to attempt this content.
Epoch was fun, challenging…WOF is just awful.
I do see @Furrymoosen points and agreed with lost of it. As mentioned above, I go approaching this (like I od most of the time), is what realistically I could see Kabam doing. But yeah WoF issue seem to contain much more layers of problem.
