having no social life, I decided to do all of the new content today, and it was… really boring. 1st quest was an introduction to all the fights, so it’s expected to be more costly and take longer to adjust to the nodes, however for no reason should a fight (LDS) take 20 minutes to complete, I personally used redskull as my only option, and mines r3, I’ve heard others say they had a fight of over 30 minutes long, which is just dumb. It was very forgiving on some fights like allowing sinister to be used for bullseye or onslaught for enchantress. 2nd quest was the hardest of all 3, especially Spiral for which I used luke cage, it sucked. 3rd quest was in my opinion the easiest, more meta champions were able to be used. Most of the fights were pretty easy and didn’t take any revives, with some outliers taking multiple just because of poor node design imo. For the time and effort invested I got 2 dupes on falcon from the titan, and zola from the nexus, and a r4. For how much time it took I feel like I didn’t really earn anything.
TL;DR this is the single most boring and uninspired quest I have ever played within this game. It’s not fun or good design to just put down the most meta defenders with extremely high attack values, meaning any mistakes result in alot of health loss (or just death), nodes designed to make the fights as hard and last as long as possible, as well as very high healthpools, coming second only to the necropolis. It seems the entire design philosophy is just to make everyone so bored they don’t finish the quest, no fights should EVER take over 10 minutes, nevermind 20/30

See how no one complained when Necro released for the first time because it had exclusive 7r3 gems and 7* Maestro.
Wheel of fate is more restrictive, much longer, less space for different playstyle and garbage rewards.
Kabam really needs to sit down and talk about rewards budget among them because one time they're giving away 7r3 gems and Onslaughts for free,
But 1 month later they're forcing players to go through most ridiculous content they made for same set of rewards.
Total ass.
