I need help on how to link image hosting sites to show up on the forum posts

For some bizarre reason I just can't seem to get it to work. Does anyone who knows how to do it help me please?

I uploaded a few screen shots to IMGBB but when I copy and paste the image link only the link shows up in PREVIEW and not the actual picture. I use to be able to do this but now I can't.

What am I missing? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

    if you look at the line of options along the top of the quick reply box, there's a picture one, (fourth from the right) click on it and you can use that to add a pic straight off your computer or device.

    otherwise, copy the url to the image and use [ img ] then paste the url, then [ /img ] without the spaces and it should work.
