WOF from end gamer’s POV

i’ve played at the end game, t1, competitive AQ level for a very long time and i’ve spent more $$ than i'd like to admit, so i have the type of roster for this.
money and time weren't the only factors, i've been extra lucky to hit the right champs from the titan crystals relative to the amount of shards that were saved (like okoye and others).
i'm not a great player and can't keep up with matchups lately but some of these fights are rough.
not only is it restricted to only 7*s, but the tags are very limited too. in quest 2, the thanos pool was BRB (cash only with the plat track then the titan pool), gamora, mantis, moondragon, and rocket. it's not a good list, and you're just dumping revives into it.
in quest 1 thanos i didn't have a jean for the reverse controls so i used my next best (deadpool xforce, another limited champ from the december key event). i know the others could do it and that it’s also a skill ask but still.
quest 2 bullseye...evade counters are iceman (limited availability champion from last december’s box key sale), dazzler (titan pool and needs high sig), and cyclops (plat track, titan).
gorr is awful in general. who do you use without a juggernaut or og hulk (with despair)? what if you don’t have a wong for the other quest?
there's more champ issues already brought up on the board but in general how are most players able to do this? it’s ok for me because my roster is diverse and worst case i’ll drop 10 revives on a fight. i also have all the OP champs that help in this (onslaught, serpent, okoye, photon, chavez, kushala etc.), and many solid but more niche champs that are good enough for it, and it's still a long fight.
this content is clearly a roster test but if players can't meet it they’re either doing very long fights and or dumping lots of revives. i don't see many willing to do this and by the time their rosters catch up the rewards will be very outdated. how much will this mean in 6-8 months? maybe i’m just cynical but i don’t think the tuning level stays the same long term. WOF feels like an aggressive shove into getting progressing players to finally ditch 6*s (totally understandable) and to incentivize spending at the end of the month. there's nothing wrong with that but i can see how this rubs players the wrong way.
i admit that i don't understand game design, so this is just ignorant speculation and i'm sure there's great intent and reasoning behind the quest but i'm also wondering if the main point, specifically the aggressive tuning of the pools and the tags, are there to help push july sales from the progressing players.

I for one I'm pissed because there was no refined exp, gold or R1-2 and R2-3 gems.
Hence Buff the rewards!!
Meaning you can skip it first, come back later when you have the roster and rank up
