Bastion Question

Can anyone explain this to me?
So Bastion has the psychic shielding tag and doesn't get reversed by Onslaught's SP2.
But he gets reversed by Jean.
Tested both fights.

Onslaught does not apply it because his kit does not allow it. Does Jean make an exception to #Psychic Shielding opponents?

Psychic shielding is reverse control immunity under certain conditions but not at all times. It has to specifically say that psychic shielding champs are immune.

Yeah, you're right. I missed it in the dev notes: "Yup, that’s a random chance for reversed controls. That is intentional. But don’t worry – there is a callout in game that tells you if it’s coming, and it is solved with Immunity to Reverse Controls (but not with the Psychic Shielding tag, which as a reminder is not the same thing)."

That just begs the question as to why psychic shielding wouldn’t protect you from the reverse control effects of a psychic (Jean Grey).

It works for another, stronger psychic (Onslaught).

Does it really beg any question? We know how the game does not care for comic book strength in any aspect while scaling their in game abilities.

Hulk isn't bleed immune, but the much much weaker Like Cage and even Beast has bleed resistance

    There is a simple explanation.

    Kerblammo math.

Ignores reality and does what it wants except when it's useful then it does the other thing.

Never understood why all robots weren't immune to reverse controls. Well I mean I do - makes the game more challenging, but robots technically have no real minds that psychics can affect (in the comics - yeah yeah it's not the comics here it's kabam's game etc) but that's why sentinels were so effective against all mutants including and especially telepaths.
