Why were the T1 Alpha Catalysts basically removed from greater solo crystals?

I used to get them, albeit sometimes. It was fairly rare but not purple unicorn rare like it has been the last 4 or so months.

To be honest I'm fairly certain I haven't pulled one since mid July. I've opened a considerable amount of them too.

    They're still in there, you'll see like 2 comments say they just pulled 1 like 5 hours ago lol. But, it definitely seems like the odds were decreased to me. It's pretty non-existant for some of us, it really is.
