MCOC on PC: disappointing

I find this port to PC to be a failure. It looks great on the big screen, almost a visual shock at first. The combat is good, but everything else is just not right. It makes no sense to release a game that was fundamentally designed for smartphones and tablets on PC as is. The entire interface should have been redesigned to be a true PC version. Navigating the menus is less convenient and faster, and completing arenas, for example, takes much longer, and I could cite other examples. All of this could already be improved on touchscreens, with animations and effects that are more of a nuisance than anything else, and poorly placed functions... in short, it needs to be revisited.

I agree that a better ui update for pc would be cool. Especially in arena because i want there to be a button that i can click on my keyboard, like the enter button, that will activate the quick fill and play.

However i still enjoy it on pc overall and find it fine most of the time. While there is a issue with dropped/unregistered inputs, which is a very important fix they need to work on, overall i was surprised how fairly decent the transition of the gameplay was from swipe to key inputs. It’s definitely not as smooth as a phone, but i think they’re all fixable issues.

How does arena take longer on PC? It’s the same

It’s the difference in users interaction. On phone it’s quicker to go from point a to point b because both your thumbs can reach everything. So clicking quick fill to start then onto rearranging champs followed by clicking accept can all be done fairly quickly and with less effort. It’s not that it’s hard labour on pc, but it does take more time. Whether it’s mouse or controller, since your dragging you cursor from left to right constantly it’s not as smooth and, while it’s okay for the first few times, it begins to pile on when all you wanna do is just mindlessly play arena to grind units.

The difference is fractions of a second unless you suck with a mouse or are using exclusively trackpad. And if your memory is good you can reposition the mouse during loading/transition screens to be ready to click instantly, no different from phone

In fact for me the interest was to be able to do everything with the controller, well settled at the bottom of my gaming chair with a good position, height, distance, etc. in short, to be able to play like a game fundamentally designed for PC. For the fights I configured the controller and it's perfect, but for the rest, it's too much of a hassle. I took the arenas as an example, but in the menus in general, I navigate a lot in them, I have to "break" my beautiful position at the bottom of my chair a little far from the keyboard/mouse to do it. I repeat, it's a simple observation, it was absurd to put as is a game designed for touch where everything is made to fall instinctively under the thumbs on PC. The whole interface should have been redesigned, I don't know how, to be a PC version. @Lokx explains some of the things very well. I would have liked everything to be designed for the controller, maybe it's illusory but hey... I gave my opinion.

    (Google trad. sorry)

This is still the problem. The opening parry input only works about a fifth of the time for me. Second mediums and other parries are the next most inconsistent for me. I tried different controllers, wired, wireless, keyboard + mouse, etc.

It must be a software issue because if I play in another room using steam link, the controls are actually more consistent. If it was a hardware issue, the opposite should be true because playing this way should add two layers of latency (network travel and rebroadcast of game on the link device).

If we're too impatient to direct a cursor to a tab with a mouse, I fear for humanity.

How? I already grind arena on PC and it's just fine compared to phone. I tend to time my grinding sessions and found no difference between the two for the same cycles.

I think it would make more sense to prove how it makes it longer. What part of the PC experience makes it harder to press buttons??
