Look i'm not playing Ross these days due to my highest version being 6* R1 but i want to also have some voice here, He was my first champion i got from 100% a quest and was the time first Cavalier quest i 100%
I don't think you or others would agree with my suggestion but i believe he should have something like Torch heat meter but way more than 20 and instead of giving potency for Incinarates it gives potency to your crit rate and crit damage, receive energy damage,use a special,hit opponent suffering from energy damage and gain your heat,if you don't do any of those you lose heat because there wouldn't be from where to take from
Special 1 still doing the charges and gives you heat,and S2 apply a plasma on yourself of 2% potency for certain time if you don't have energy debuffs soo you can keep the heat up,if you have energy debuffs it removes them and convert into heat
S3 consumes all the hit and apply a Incinarate on the opponent based on your heat,also heals based on your hit
Awakening is basicly the same but adds amount of energy resistence like guardian
Is more of a explanation i have the stuff more detailed write down in some notes here,realy would like to talk more about and din't join before because was dealing with Gentle and Falcon situation

I'm open to most ideas for him.. as long as he keeps his current identity - Science champ who doesn't rely on Debuffs and can control whether he uses them or not.. short form damage dealer (AW attack, etc.), counter to Mystic and Energy champs, red numbers as primary damage
I agree that a way to gain Energy resistance is good.. maybe a pre-fight toggle?
- first and foremost, make his sp2 do something useful - add some form of combat mechanic utility and/or power gain mitigation via Passive Effect (Whither, Exhaustion, etc.) - With Recoil, his damage is actually quite solid, but he needs to be able to play without it (particularly for competitive BGs) give him a damage modifier somehow (and/or a way to increase crit rate.. though I understand XL champs traditionally don't get a good crit rate)
