Where can I see all the heroes that are in the game

I don't think you can check the whole roster in the game. Wish there was a way to work towards certain characters. Can't get Punisher for the life of me with the crystal you can acquire from Battlechips and I know Civil War Panther is in the game but there really is no strategy on how to get him or any characters in the game.
