They had this build of the eq built already long before the first two even happened. We knew before the valiant eqs even started they told us the first 3 were experimental. Meaning they already had this version built. It's one month. It'll be fine. Give your feedback and move on. Hopefully they listen and forget this one ever happened.
Really annoying. What was the point of fighting the boss 3 times per quest? And also why did the last 3 quests have double paths?
Because it's still experimental. They are toying with the format based on feedback. They've said this already.

If they are truly looking for feedback they should have tested all new versions of EQ (and other game modes) in beta like they do with story content instead of the live server (bugs galore). Why have a beta environment if you only use it for 2 weeks every 3-4 months for the oldest, and most vanilla game mode? Instead of testing raids, nightmare raids, new aw format, new eq formats (all of which have been littered with bugs at initial release; and I’m willing to bet a lot of money there are going to be bugs in the new 2* sq thing) why not take advantage of the beta environment to test and get feedback there.
When they actually give us the option to choose oue favourite mode you guys are mad lol. If you're mad, give negative feedback bout this quest, instead of outright saying this quest shouldn't exist

If there’s no intention, ability or desire to do so until after the final draft is presented - then let’s just skip to the final draft.
Now, is there a scenario in which you would intentionally exacerbate issues gradually over time and in stages? Yes. But then that would also eliminate the concept of “well this wasn’t intended and the changes were already in progress regardless of the feedback.”

I can understand the 3x switch, but at the boss? You are locking out 2 other champs for no reason if you manage the solo... Congratulations you killed the boss in a single attempt, as reward you don't get to use the other 2 champs (x2 so its 4) for no reason at all...
T7B and awakening gem shards are same but I feel the difference for other things in comparison previous VEQ. May be in total it would be same. Also for last 2-3 quest have complition and exploration reward...might be this creating confusion

That was still bearable but idk what made them want to split 4-6 chapter into two paths each, that too with many extra fights per path, so literally we're doing 11 fights in chapter 1-3 and 28 fights in chapters 4-6

I don't give a s about jealousy over a mobile game i play it to enjoy I don't feel any jealousy. WHAT I ABSOLUTELY know for sure is that every hard content is likly tested through MSD by Kabam and he gives them regular feedback, but what Kabam is failing to understand is not every little bit of content needs to be sky high difficult. It's a fact Kabam has definitely amped the AI and baiting doesn't work like 90% of time. Read my example of knull above in incursion.
Uhh, is every little bit of content sky high difficult right now? The only sky high difficult thing I see recently is Wheel of Fate. Easy content still comes from story, side quest, EQ, Incursions, special event stuff, etc.

The whole game is an experiment my guy. We're not the QA team. We're the players. You can't have it both ways. Do you want a QA team to make content for you when every claims Kabam employees don't play the game? Or do you want the players to help tune the content to be enjoyable.
I'll admit that Kabam hasn't been the best in this area. Especially with content like EQs and Story content. What they did to story content is a travesty. We give them feedback all the time and they can't constantly be running betas because it just takes too much time to implement.
But most of the time the community doesn't give fully constructive feedback to take back to the team. This entire thread is just that. There's some good things in here but most of it is just complaining.

You can make all the excuses you want to but you’re not going to find many sympathetic players ant this point. Myself included.
And generally, I’m sympathetic to dev teams. I’ve worked alongside them my whole career and I know what it means to make the leap from production to live. But it’s a matter of degree — somewhere in the past few months the number of bugs has pushed my attitude from “have patience, they’ll figure it out” to “this is consistently half-assed planning and execution that’s indicative of fundamental problems.”
There’s plenty of good feedback in this thread. Hopefully they take the time to absorb it. (After they’ve fixed raids, at least. What a mess.)
Yeah not being able to solo content and needing to spend a few revives on is not necessarily sky high difficulty. If you are spending 20+ revives on this content than you do not have the skills or the roster to take it on at this point in the game. Needing to spend a few revives or health potions though is not the end of the world.
The whole and I mean whole intention of this format of EQ is to drain players revives stash there is no other explanation but this that made them change it. I don't understand that even in the last format if player made mistake in fight 7-8 or something they had to use resources. But why does Kabam locking and wasting champ placement by making us choose 3 champs every 3 fights ? Especially boss? All it does is wasting position of our champs and mind you we can even use champs we used already. It's just made with intention of a monthly revives fest quest.

Okay, but what if a player explored it all without using a single item from the stash? Hypothetically speaking of course, because apparently that's not possible.
And the explanation came months ago. They said quite clearly that they would be trying multiple iterations of Valiant EQ to gather feedback from the players before settling on the permanent picture of the content. So while this version sucks, it was in the plans and now they've been able to gather feedback. But feedback in the form of a rant is not helpful feedback. Regardless, they can easily take away from the last 36 hours that the last version was better than this one, and now that they know that they can move forward with more information on what players respond well to and what we don't respond well to.
If they experimented with this design to being with, for last two months, I'm 100% sure, they would have received positive feed back, except the triple boss fights I suppose.
They gave us single path initially and that spoiled eveyeone lol.
For rewards vs effort ratio, I personally don't mind the difficulty at all. I have explored it. So no more Veq after 1 day for the whole month. Took me 2 restarts somewhere as I got koed and refused to use a revive.
Yep. It was finely doable and I'm happy to finally have the third t7b for my next r4. Also, is it a buff to t7b rewards this month? I got like 90% of a catalyst total from veq, incursion, and showcase combined? Anyways, Done with everything so time to wait for next month content drop.
I think kabam made a problem to the very solution they created with previous versions of valiant eq. Aka making it into completion & exploration thing. . Wasn't 2 months of good feedback on valiant EQ enough to convince you to keep it that way. . Valiant Eqs should not have to be of same type like other Eq's. ( completion & exploration). It was suited as 6 quests gauntlet. Hope it returns next month🥹
