Is it just me or did Wheel of Fate destroy Enchantress’s defensive aura (Battlegrounds specifically)

For me, she was an instant ban regardless of rank or rarity, but after 100%ing Wheel of Fate, its like a gift when someone chooses her as a defender.

    Try deleting her in last 2 bgs meta.

    This is coming from someone who never avoided fighting her since the start.

    If nodes aren't helping Enche,
    Then I guess she's falling off and 100% HP takedown is now possible, especially when everyone now has Silk, SpiderWoman and were forced to learn sp1 dex.

    People said the same about Onslaught when we had to fight him in WOE/SOS but hes still a top Defender to this day

    Enchantress is a problem only when there is power gain involved. Otherwise she is super easy to deal with.

    I think she will age well as a defender.. mostly just because of the rng random aspect of her spells (including the rng to remove some of them)and her AI
    Like in a BG fight.. if it takes a while to remove spells you can lose the match no matter how well you play.. she can also stall just by chucking special into solid block, etc. haha
    Kinda like how Domino has aged pretty well.. we know how to fight her and there's a lot of counters, but she can still be annoying sometimes, years after release

    A top defender isn't a top defender because you don't know how to dex their specials. They're a top defender because their kit is hard to deal with, regardless of whether or not you can dex their specials or not. The reason why I tend to lose to Enchantress isn't because I fail to dex her SP1, it's because regardless of whether or not I do that, she reflects a ton of damage that I tried dealing to her if she gets off her SP1 before I've removed all of her spells. That will continue going forward, even if I now know how to dex her specials a little bit better.

    Same with Onslaught. Yes, learning how to dex his SP1 was very helpful in terms of being able to fight him, but me being unable to dex his SP1 wasn't the main reason I had problems with him. The reason he's an annoying defender is because his whole kit is annoying, not just his SP1.

    Attuma's SP1 (and for the most part, even his SP2) is super easy to dex, that doesn't make him a super easy defender.

    What I will say is that everyone and their mama placing Enchantress on defense in last season of War really made me learn how to fight her. Not dex her specials, but knowing which spells were what and what I needed to do to get rid of them. I no longer have to sit with Khonshu's Ankh open to piece together what I have to do after each special she throws.

    She's still super annoying, though. And as someone else said, even super basic node can make that difficulty skyrocket. Some basic power gain and your toast. Unblockable (or Invade)? Good luck!

    She will most likely be a top defender for quite a while.

    I mostly go for sp2s. His Sp1 wastes a lot of time.
