you know the worst part? the mine ins't the problem but how they worked around It
instead of making it a one time per rotation they should have made like sable and did multiple mines, each time the opponent steps on one they apply a copy one of Maker pre fights, 3 of each at max and it's 2 mines instead of 1,reduced damage but the catch is
While holding special maker gains a passive precision making all hits guareented for 5 seconds, paused during specials and when Maker would crit he deals a burst of plasma based on his critical damage rating
For a extra on the Awakening he gain a certain % Cruelty based on personal passive effects on the opponent, and make him parry non contact attack as a base kit thing
Well you see the problem? Most mutants punish critical hits and big yellow numbers
Tech champs are supposed to function in a way that they can counter mutants who punish crits
My idea for when he crits is the same as Jack Latern, the guareented crit is for your special to deal a ton of plasma Burst without needing to heavily rely on the mine

He's not supposed to be crit, thats a huge part of the tech identity now. Also you yet again keep suggestion massive fundamental changes that completely misunderstand the character
He doesn't do crit hits he does burst of plasma when he would crit like Jack,The guareented crit precision is for your specials to not depend solely in the mine for big damage,
"Also you yet again keep suggestion massive fundamental changes that completely misunderstand the character"
I still kept the mine, still kept his actual kit and just made It easier to apply his effects, I don't think it takes much to understand that Maker wouldn't commit the same "mistakes" as Reed and would have a much easier Ramp, you put your mines and they apply the copy of your passives like Reed S2,you do your heavy and if they step on a mine during the special you gain Cruelty of certain potency based on how many passive effects you have
If you call this exaggerated I would agree but to say "completly misundertand the character" is trying to play yourself as smart

He's built to have 1 mine that you work with, adding more mines would completely change his rotation and likely make him way way slower as an attacker. His damage primarily comes from the mine burst damage so giving him damage outside of that doesn't fix the issues since unless he's critting all the time any boost to that damage isn't gonna do much.
Jack is built around his crit plasma, Maker is not. Im not trying to be smart im just pointing out that your buff suggestions are often based around completely changing how a champion is supposed to work

How would make him way way slower as a attacker if it will increase your combat power rate with the duplicates of his effects,Yes his going to crit most of the time since the precision can be paused during specials and it's 5 seconds, won't do much as it would outside specials but still help since both of your attacks gonna crit
I'm not completly changing how Maker is supost to work, i'm adding alternative form of damage and boosting already existent effects, even if change that much won't be for the worst and in his actual state his very Hit or Miss champion
Finally got the Maker and here are my current thoughts after testing him out
Things I like
Damage is very consistent, with no one immune to Plasma, making it a very good damage source. In fact, out of every energy damaging effect, Plasma is the only effect no one is immune to. Dark Phoenix and Iceman are immune to Nova Flame but no one is immune to plasma
The evade on parry with passive stun is very useful with a short cooldown, making him viable vs unblockable opponents, or opponents that you cannot parry easily (Skill champs, Shuri, Maw, Onslaught). Also makes him decent for Zola since he can heavy knock down Zola every 8 seconds.
Neuroshock immunity. More mutant defenders like Cap Britain and Onslaught have neuroshock damage and I'm sure we'll see future Neuroshock damage nodes like hazard shift, so this will be useful. Reverse controls immunity is always nice vs those annoying RC champs (Emma Frost, High Evolutionary, Knull, Onslaught)
Animations are top tier, especially that brutal SP3. SP1 and SP2 are cool.
Prefights are useful anywhere. For example, vs Captain Britain, anyone can use the special power drain in war and questing, doesn't have to be the Maker who uses it. Another example, if you are facing Kitty Pryde anywhere, choose the Cowardice prefight with anyone including the Maker, and Kitty is shut down as long as the cowardice stays on them. The instant siphon is useful for anyone with high burst damage (Galan, Serpent, Jean, DPXF), as MSD showed in his video
His power control is among the best vs non-power gain champs. First of all, that special power drain counters any champion or node with power efficiency (Sentinel, Dust, Professor X). Secondly, those suppressions lock down the opponent's CPR pretty well, but Maker also gets that Power Reroute, stealing all the opponent's power for himself. But the real insanity is combing this with Mr Fantastic's suppressions. The Maker's suppressions are 10% each and can stack up to 60%. Combining that with Mr Fantastic's 22% 3 Suppressions (highest versions), that means the opponent gets 126% less combat power rate. Haven't tested this before, but it should mean that unless the opponent has power gain, they will gain either no power, or very less power.
Things I'm not a fan of
Needs the highest rank possible for max damage. The one issue I am having, is that if the opponent doesn't die after a SP2, it may take a while for the Maker to finish off his opponent. Sure you can go to the SP3, but it does slow things down, especially in BGs.
Stun Immunity. If the opponent is Stun immune, it makes it harder for Maker to rely on his evade and heavies to reset the mine
Defensive abilities: The Maker for all his power control and evade stun, cannot counter abilities like evade, unstoppable or miss, which can potentially disrupt his loop.
