Hear me out… again

Yesterday I made a post about how we should get rid of nodes and add larger health pools instead. It was dumb, and clearly a lot of you guys disagreeed, very strongly. So I took some time to think of something better, and ya boi has been cookin with this one. I say we DO keot nodes but, we should ad a feature where we can take away ONE node during that quest your doing, aside from a boss node. And if I’m not being clear enough becuase I’m too slow to explain things, then I’ll explain it clearly this time. Once every quest, there should be a feature for you to remove one singular node from any defender on your path. But you can only do this one time. And you can’t remove boss nodes either. Now I may be stupid and this might be a feature somewhere, But I haven’t seen it if it is, so don’t roast the life out of me if it already is. Monky out.

As for the new idea, I'm curious if you can give an example in story mode where you'd want to do that? I don't think in act 7+ I can think of a situation where this would help versus make the path harder. This is because of all the weapon disabled, weapon steals, or play a way to get a fury buff. Maybe there's a scenario in act 6 though? Curious for you to give an example of ab act or path.
Also, nodes often play together to make a particular fight what it is.. there are often at least two that work together, so removing one basically destroyed the fight design
