If you consider domino as first, then onslaught
If you consider onslaught as first (which is wrong imo), then domino.

Out of this list, jean due to recency, but once people practice well against her then it's gentle I Guess.

Onslaught, didnt include dom since shes got a lot more counters and everyone knows its an instant loss if you dont have a counter .

With gentle (super tanky stall) , dust (crit resis and punishing for mistakes), sinister (the mystic power gain at high sig combined with his specials etc) it becomes more interesting

Your description of domino is exactly the same, if not more, for sinister

With optimal counters, they’re all easy, so I’ll list them when using sub-pair counters and how many counters there are.

    1. Sinister (not crit champion needed)
    2. Domino (unavoidable damage if you don’t have increased ability accurate)
    3. Gentle (he’s a much better stall than many people realize)
    4. Jean grey (she’s really not that hard, but people get tripped up with the reverse controls)
    5. Onslaught (dex the specials and you’re good)
    6. Dust (occasionally annoying, but she doesn’t have anything bad unless you mess up)

Onslaught isn't number 1 tho, its Jean rn. Everyone already knows how to fight him and domino is a death sentence without a non tech. I literally can't name 3 non techs that can do domino with competitive results, don't forget captain Britain.

These 3 ladies are above onslaught if we're strictly talking defensive power.

Jean Grey is Jack food. Jack is the best BGs tech champ.

People are definitely sleeping on Gentle

Sinister id argue has less counters than Domino especially since Titania got nerfed. Champs like xbones that dont crit still struggle against sinister (you need a picture perfect fight) . Idk if i was just playing Spiderwoman bad but he also took a while to get down using her

Sinister doesn't need a counter most of the times though? I have taken down Sinister with champs like hulkling and america Chavez under 60 secs.

Also there are way more counters for Sinister than domino. You either need a robot or a non crit champ or a heal blocker. The top 20 tech champs come under one of these tags.

Those that voted Jean, would you still have over Domino and Onslaught?

northstar lowk has more of a right being here than jean

if you hate fighting gentle, northstar is basically the same high phys resist, crit immune beast on defense except the guy has more annoying specials to dex and will never let you intercept him after 2 sp1s/1 sp2 if dont have an unstoppable counter.

Bishop is an old champ, but I hate to fight him. If you do not have a proper tech counter, he can be extremely hard to deal with.
